Boom! Crash!

You frowned as you walked home. Today was when parents get their report cards for their child's grades, and you knew for A FACT, that your parents would be mad at you.

You started kicking pebbles while walking to yourself down. You sighed and opened the door to see both of your parents glaring at you. You chuckled, "I'm in trouble!"

"Y/N, you are in so much trouble, you said you would do better in school," your father grumbled.

"Yeah, yeah, I know, I tried but school's just so hard, and I don't even fit in with anyone!"

"Try harder, Y/N."

You looked up at your father through narrowed eyes, "I'm already trying my hardest," you groaned, "why can't you just understand that?"

Your mother looked in your direction, "You don't seem like you're trying you hardest, if you were, we would see better results." 

Your father shifted in his seat, "Look at your best friend, she is top of the class, why can't you be like her?"

You snapped your head to look at him, "Why are you always comparing me to my friends? I'm tired of this."

Your parents yelled at you as you stood up from your seat, heading towards the stairs. You stomped to your big room with tears threatening to spill. You laid on your bed, thoughts running through your mind. I hate it here. Y'know what? FUCK IT.

You grabbed a backpack and stuffed it with essential items. You scoffed as a picture frame of you and your parents fell onto the ground, breaking. Although you didn't like your parents that much, you shoved the picture in your backpack. 

You threw the window up and hopped out, sliding on the roof to the grass, landing perfectly. A part of the forest in front of you seemed to glow and you headed towards it. In front of you were two people,, fighting? A 'thing' that looked like a grey fox with a dinosaur skull yelled at you in surprise while wiggling around in vines. 

You waved at it in confusion and looked over to the two people who were still fighting. The two people calmed down and started talking. After a while, the taller one with long dark teal hair did some weird thing with her hands and made a glowing circle, in which a staff appeared and a wooden owl?

The smaller person with short brown hair looked at you and her eyes widened, "Who are you?"

"Well, uh- I'm Y/N?"

"I'm Luz, this is Lilith, and that's King," she pointed to everyone and looked at the portal, "do you wanna tag along..?" 

You looked shocked as she pointed to the portal. You had no idea what to expect but..

"I'll go with you."

As you entered the portal, you looked behind you with no regret.

...

"Wait, why are there no guards around?" Luz asked.

You glanced around, and as you did, red tentacle looking things grabbed you, Lilith, and King, lifting you up in the air.

Fire erupted near a throne and a tall dude with a mask and a cloak sat there, "Oh, Lilith, you chose the wrong side."

The three of you were thrown into a cage and you screamed at a giant owl monster, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT-"

The monster glared at Lilith, "Lilith, you hurt Luz, you cursed me, and before anything turns me to stone, I WILL TEAR YOU APART!"

It raised it's claw, ready to strike.

King scrunched his eyes and jumped in front on Lilith, "Eda, don't!"

"Lilith was trying to help! She betrayed the emperor for you."

Eda, the giant owl monster looked at her with confused eyes. 

Lilith looked up at Eda with sad eyes, "If I knew something like this would happen, Edalyn, I wou-"

A giant machine glowed green and sparked everywhere.

You kneeled to the ground, accepting your fate, but as you looked to the crowd, you realized they were pumping their fists in the air, chanting, "LET EDA GO!" 

You grinned but then suddenly yelped as a giant bolt of green energy shot towards the cage. Eda jumped in front of everyone, protecting you and the others from it. Lilith yelled at Eda in distress.

Luz jumped from the platform and threw a glyph at the machine that seems to be turning Eda into.. stone.

Eda screeched and fell to the ground. You panicked and turned towards Lilith, "What do we do?"

"The spell wasn't completed, maybe i can help her fight it!"

The cage around you and the others disappeared and you fell a bit. Eda opened her eyes and the stone faded away. Guards started to surround you guys and Eda pulled everyone onto her back, "Let's fly!"

Spears flew in the air towards Eda, but she was too fast.

Long story short, Eda and Lilith shared the curse! I felt bad for both of them, but at least Eda is alright! And that's how we escaped from the emperor! 

Every since you moved into the Owl House, you've learned a lot! You now know that you're in the 'Demon Realm', but specifically in the Boiling Isles!

This Demon Realm is quite something..
