Third person P. O. V

Annie arrived at cafè sheena 10 minutes earlier than their arranged meeting time.

She sat on one of the tables unaware of the eyes staring at her from the dark alleyway across the street.

Armin soon arrived 5 minutes later with a bouquet of blue and yellow tulips at hand.

Annie's face brightened up seeing him and Armin greeted her giving her the bouquet excusing it as a gift for making her wait. Annie who knew that wasn't the real reason accepted the flower's happily.

The prying pair of eyes glared in their direction his teeth gritted in anger and jealousy the bouquet of thorned roses in his hand was thrown on the ground as he continuously stepped on the roses who looked wilted from the dirt and the petals were torn. The man left off to a place where blood is shed.

Armin and Annie order from the cafè and started to talk about the information armin found, Annie was delighted to know that there is a witness that will prove her father's innocence.

Annie's P.O.V

I can't thank armin enough, Even back then....from the past he's done everything for my sake. I want to be able to do something for him too.

Thank you armin.... I seriously can't thank you enough, so if there's anything you need.. Then please tell me I'd like to return the favour too.. i sincerely spoke.

Annie, it's really nothing. After all I am a lawyer and it's my job to prove my client's innocence. And besides i don't mind going the extra mile for.... A friend. Armin smiled at me gently causing me to reminisce the many times he's smiled at me like this back then.

Well...i still want to thank you though....so if you want anything then tell me. I smiled back and took a sip of my coffee.

Hmm... Since you're so persistent.. Maybe there is something. He smirks, gone was the soft look in his face instead it was replaced with a playful smirk and mischievous glint in his eyes.

I gulped, what did i get myself into? But it's armin.... I doubt it'd be anything too bad.

What is it? I ask and continued to drink my coffee.

"Go on a date with me" Those were the words that came out of his mouth that made me almost choke.

What? I-im sorry did i hear you right i question in disbelief, was my ears playing tricks on me?

You heard it right annie, "Go out on a date with me" he repeats this time with an alluring tone. Causing tingles run up my spine.

My heart was throbbing and my throat suddenly felt dry. Heat rushed in my face and i was desperately trying to force the words yes out but from the shock i can't seem to answer.

You shouldn't keep the young man waiting miss annie, or else he might slip away. A familiar voice spoke behind me.

I turn and faced Ymir Fritz, the woman i saved probably weeks ago.

Y-ymir! My voice was back and armin stared at us in curiosity.

It's nice meeting you again miss annie. She smiled.

But i suggest you answer this man right here first , she pointed at armin who took a sip of his drink.

R-right... Yes...I-I'll go on a date with y-you i turn my gaze to the side feeling embarrassed at how my voice failed me.

From the corner of my eye i saw Armin's eyes glimmering with joy and a beautiful smile illuminated his handsome features.

The throbbing in my heart got worse and i needed to breathe. I excused myself covering my flushed face and headed towards the bathroom.

Armin's P. O. V

Annie rushed to the bathroom but before that i caught a glimpse of her flustered face, and i felt a weird sensation in my stomach and my heart pounded at her reaction from earlier.

I didn't really expect her to agree i was more than ready to excuse that statement as a joke but I'm very glad that she said yes.

The woman Annie was talking to earlier then introduced herself to me.

Hello there young man, My name's Ymir fritz. A...friend of annie. She offered her hands and i shook it, Armin Arlert nice to meet you Mrs. Fritz.

You know Armin...your fate is quite an interesting one. Would you mind if i give you a palm reading? Let's just take a little peak in your future, hm? She offers and smiles kindly.

I nod my head at her, i mean what could go wrong? It'd be fun too while we wait for annie.

She takes hold of my palms, carefully examining the lines within them as if she were reading words on a book.

Mrs. Fritz then looks up at me with a frown, i suddenly felt nervous.

So what did you see... Mrs. Fritz?

The love you and your soulmate have for each other will be tested yet again, it will take your happiness and her heart away, making everything up to this point feel all in vain. She spoke.

Soulmate? I felt uneasy at what she said in the end.... Take whose heart? Lose my happiness?

Mrs. Fritz.... If....that is..true then what can i do to prevent it?? I ask in worry i don't know who this soulmate is but I'd still like to know what precautions i could take.

Be careful...and beware of those arround you. She spoke and bid me good bye.

Annie came back a moment later asking where ymir went and i told her she left after talking to me.

After a while we left the coffee shop and I offered to drive her home since it was pretty dark already. Annie agreed.

So now we were at my car and the windows were open, making some strands of Annie's hair fly and i saw how she enjoyed the breeze. She looked ethereal. Just how at peace her face looks and the brief smiles she'd make when humming to the music of the radio was enough to make me unconsciously smile.

I'm falling for her.

I wish everyday was like this... Me beside her just happily living in the moment. She is my joy... Annie is... My euphoria.

The dark haired man left the cafè as he couldn't bare to watch anymore.

He met up with a platinum blonde haired woman.
