Let me tell you, things are really awkward now that we're back in new York. Liam is acting like Maya never kissed Josh and that everything just never happened. He's acting like he's okay but we all know he isn't okay.. at all. Riley of course, went back to talking Maya right after but I didn't say anything to her because that's her business.
"Okay what happened while you guys were in Texas? Because Cory called saying Maya and Riley are acting weird." Dad asked me while I was getting ready to meet up with the others at the bakery. I sighed before sitting down on my bed.
"So you know Pappy Joe had tickets for me, Luke, Liam, Mich, and Zay? And the others had came on their own?" I asked him and he nodded.
"Well Josh ended coming along with them.." I told him, making him look at me surprised.
"She wasn't paying attention Liam any attention all the whole time and made up a meeting with him and his mother, not knowing that they don't have a good relationship. Then she signed up Liam to run Tombstone but luckily we got him out of it. Her and Riley got into it and she ended spending the day with Josh. She.. kissed Josh, and Liam saw it. She didn't even tell Josh that she had a boyfriend, he had ask me to help me ask her out. I ended up telling Josh who was hating himself but Liam knew that he didn't know about him and Maya. They confronted her about it and Liam broke up with her. And now Liam is acting like everything is cool, I don't know what's going on with Riley and Maya. To be honest, I don't really care.." He just blinked at me with his jaw dropped.
"Oh wow.. That's a lot of information to take in all at once." He said making me nod.
"Imagine being the person running around, telling everyone this multiple times." I said making him winced.
"Damn.. would suck to be you." He says making me throw a pillow at him and he ran away laughing. I just shook my head and picked up my pillow, throwing it back on my bed before heading out to the bakery.
Once I got there, I only saw Lucas and Liam on the couch.
"Hey guys." I greeted them before sitting next to Lucas who gave me a kiss.
"Hey Dee." Liam said and I gave him a small smile.
"How have you been today Li? And be honest." I added, giving him a stern look.
"I'm alright.. I have been numb for the last few days but I'm much better.. All I know is that the feelings I had for her is gone." He said making Lucas and I look at him surprised
"Really? Already?" Lucas asked making him nod.
"I don't know.. it was just the way she was treating me and seeing her kiss Josh was just it for me." He said making us nod understanding where he's coming from.
"Like I told you, your princess will find you soon and you'll know for certain that she's the one. Trust me." I said
"I trust you.." I grabbed hold of his hand as Mich and Farkle walked in.
