Describing the map to Lily was a tedious task, what was even worse was having to show it to her. Samantha didn't even have top tell her of its makers, Lily took the the names much faster than Samantha had, especially when 'Prongs' was unable to insult her.

"So.. In the six years we have been here," Lily stared, she was sitting on the bed infront of Sam, who was on the floor, with the map on her lap and fingers rubbing her temples, "they have some how mapped the entire school, along with the moving stair cases, and made a spell that insults anyone who tries to open it?"

"Thats the gist of it yes, to be completely honest they've probably been going mad without it, I've had it almost all term." Samantha explained.

"Well that surely explains the lack of pranks, I honestly thought James was just taking his head-boy role very seriously.." Lily sighed, placing the map to her left, "This is all very interesting but it hasn't answered my original question. What's up with Remus?".

Sam contemplated the question for a moment, she could just fess up, but who ever actually did that? "What's up with Remus? I don't really see what you mean Lils, he seems normal to me." Sam mumbled, suddenly very interested in her nails.

Lily let out a loud sigh, "I do not have the patience for this.. What up with you and Remus?! You kissed him, remember?"

"I've kissed lots of people... Doesn't really ring a bell, care to be specific?" Sam asked, hoping Lily would get fed up and let it go.

"What sin did I commit in a past life... This morning, infront of EVERYONE. That ring a bill Samantha Joline Riteen?!".

Samantha looked up from her nails, she had chipped most of the red polish off, "No need to bring that horrid middle name out.." She sighed, "But yes, it does ring a bell. It was nothing really, just a bit of harmless snogging."

Lily looked unimpressed "Mhm. Harmless snogging. And this little scene had nothing to do with Sirius and Marlene?"

"Nope." Sam said, popping the 'p'.

"Samantha!"

"What?!"

"Your a terrible liar, and stop picking your nails! Your getting polish everywhere!" Lily scolded, sitting up from the bed and dusting off her skirt, she started to pace the room as she mumbled things Samantha couldn't hear. "Merlin I better get a fucking amazing heaven for all the shit I put up with...".

"Are we giving you grey hairs?" Sam teased.

"Your so childish! You and Marlene both! No, not just you and Marlene. All four of you are being childish! I expected better from Remus!"

"You have so much faith in us." Samantha deadpanned.

Lily stopped, closing her eyes for a moment. "Samantha." She said as she turned, "Love, darling, my dearest best friend, I love you but fix your shit. I'm not going to treat you like a child, even if you acting like one, I'm going to tell you the truth. Your being absolutely petty and childish, you and Marlene both. Now here's what your going to do, your going to give the map back to the boys, you've had it far too long."

Sam opened her mouth to object, but a stern look from Lily's fiery eyes made her mouth snap shut.

"And then your going to be civil with Marlene, no hush! Remember we have to share a dorm with you, keep your little games to yourself. Even if you are angry with her, I understand, but remember you still have quite a while left with her here. So just try to play nice, for all of our sakes."
