'Shizun really is a peerless immortal beauty.' Binghe had just gotten past all of his childhood in that world, it was worse than his now but at least at one point he had a mother figure in his life that loved him.

It really was an emotional rollercoaster, especially when this mother-like-figure had died. He was now... digging holes? He looked around a little... that man up there... that's definitely Shizun. But why does he look so... cold?

Not just then, when he'd been taken as a disciple by this 'Shizun', whose surname was also the same as his teacher's in this life, it seemed that he was hated... no... Shizun wouldn't hate him... maybe this is just a lookalike?

Binghe kneeled down and apologised over and over for not being good enough, to which he'd gotten hot tea pored over his head. He shrunk back on himself, he wanted to scream at how it scalded and boiled his flesh. But he didn't. Shizun would think that he was weak, this is him just disciplining Binghe... right?

He stood firm. This was all just training. This was so he could become stronger. The demons would treat him worse on the battlefield, Shizun was just preparing him... even when he whipped him and left him in the woodshed...

Of course the modern Binghe's thinking was different! Is this not just child abuse??!! Though, it being him, he could feel everything the him of then felt too. His thoughts, emotions, pain... everything.

Until one day... Shizun had a Qi deviation. Even he, the 19 year old Binghe in this 14 year old version of himself, was anxious... Shizun had called for him as soon as he woke up. But... he was offering him medicine??? To heal?

It was from then on that Shizun started acting completely different. Like he had amnesia or something...

Binghe grabbed the axe and hauled it over his shoulder, going to chop firewood. His bully of a Shixiong, Ming Fan, said it was for strength training. Ning YingYing was trailing behind him like a little duckling, then they both slowed to a stop. There was a huge split in the earth. Only Shizun had enough power to do this. Plus, he'd remember the mark of shizun's legendary Xiu Ya anywhere.

Binghe shook his head after having a short conversation with YingYing, then went to go chop the wood. Of course Ming Fan and his mindless goons showed up! What is this??? Some tragic bullying novel or something? Honestly, this was getting hard to watch!

Then it turned into an all out brawl??? 'Good going little me! He deserves to be punched! Haha!' This offered him a little bit happiness, the Ming Fan in his world deserved to be punched too but he'd be kicked out if he did that. And obviously, like any other cowardly, typical, cliche bullying stereotype little Binghe was no match for them. They took the only thing his mother left for him and threw it.

Then the leaves came.

"He's got a knife!"
"He's playing dirty!"

Binghe looked around everywhere for the source. Eventually the bullies scrambled away with cuts all over them. Binghe picked up a small leaf on the ground and inspected the edge, it had blood on it with traces of Qi. Shizun had interfered.
They looked around for hours afterward, yet we're unable to find the 'jade'.

Binghe started noticing small amounts of kindness being extended to him all the time by his Shizun. Especially when he allowed him to be seated in the carriage with him on a mission! He even smiled at him! At Binghe!

And the 19 year old Binghe was sure, this was where the little him in his past life had his gay awakening. And the him of this life was somewhat... horny... he'd love to see Mr. Shen in those ropes all tied up underneath him-

It was from then on that Binghe never had to deal with bullies or abuse again, but of course he'd still remember it all and be a little bit fearful of his Shizun... had Shizun really had a change in heart?
