"That wench!" Rain squealed slamming his locker door shut.

"Don't call her that," Rose said, following the stomping Rain to their classroom.

"But she's a real wench! How many times has she hit you? Countless times, am I right?" Rain looked at Rose.

"Yes, but..." Rose looked back at Rain, "It's okay, Rain."

"I would've told my mother if she wasn't a wench too." Rain walked first, pissed off.

Rose sighed and followed Rain to their classroom. Rain often loses his temper easily. He gets mad at the simplest things. He even gets easily emotional. He cried because he and Rose weren't sitting together in class. Rain had already left Rose, he was so pissed off he didn't know he left Rose.

"Hey, Rose!" Devon called Rose from a distance.

Rose looked back and saw Devon waving. He waved back too, smiling slightly.

"Yes?" Rose slowly approached Devon as Devon ran towards him.

"Let's go to the-" Devon's smiling face suddenly disappeared once he saw the bandage on Rose's cheek and forehead, "What happened?"

"Oh... this?" Rose held his cheek, "I accidentally fell out of the bed." Rose laughed.

"You fell out of the bed?" Devon scanned Rose's face, "This is not something you get out of falling out of the bed. You have a fluffy carpet on your floor, that would've been soft. Don't tell me...?"

Ah, he knows too much. "It isn't, Dev. Trust me."

Devon's eyes looked at Rose, "Alright." Devon smiled, "I trust you."

Then the bell started to ring, "Oh! Bye-bye Rose!" Devon smiled, "I'll see you later."

"See you later."

"Hmph."

"Rain? Is there a problem?" Rose placed his and Rain's tray of food on the table.

"I don't want to attend the concert." Rain placed his hands on his cheeks, "I don't want to eat lunch anymore." Rain said.

"You should eat," Rose said, handing Rain a bottle of water, "It's not cold, I know you don't like cold drinks," Rose said before Rain could speak.

"Thanks..." Rain sighed and started munching on the bread included in his food tray.

Rose started eating too. He started thinking about his mother if she had already gotten home or not. When Rose left the house, she hasn't come home yet.

"What are you thinking of?"

Rose looked up to see Devon. Rose was sitting and Devon was standing behind him. When he looked up, he saw Devon's smiling face.

"O-oh," Rose cleared his throat and looked at Rain, who's now cheery after seeing Devon.

"Hi, Devon!" Rain greeted.

"Hello, Averain." Devon smiled back, "Can I sit with you guys?"

"Yes, of course." Rain said. Rose then nodded, Devon sitting beside Rose after.

"So are you guys joining in the sports event?" Devon looked at Rose and Rain. There was an upcoming sports event, this became the talk of everyone since it was announced.
