"What's this?"
Rose looked at her mom.
"What are these cheap plushies doing here? Do you use your money to buy this stuff?" Rose's mom threw one of the plushies under Rose's bed.
"Mom, please don't throw them out," Rose picked up the plushie.
"These aren't even designed by the best designers! Everything that's used to sew this is cheap and of low quality. Throw them out. " She said, picking up another plushie and throwing it at Rose. She then started walking out of the room.
"But mom..." Rose said. She stopped and looked back at Rose.
"If you don't, I'm removing you from that school. It seems like your school has a really bad influence on you," She said, pulling Rose's hair harshly.
"Y-yes," Rose nodded.
-
"As all of you have heard, the sports week is in a few days," the teacher announced.
"We will have all kinds of sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, baseball, softball, tennis, track, gymnastics, archery, and more. You will all be going against 5 more schools around the city." The teacher announced.
"Yay! Aren't the kings of basketball going against our school?" The girls started chatting in the back.
"Yes, their school's name is Louisville right?"
"Alright, please pay attention everyone." The teacher said frustrated, "All schools will be going to Youngsriver."
"There are so many pretty girls at Youngsriver," The guys are now chatting.
"We will be going against Youngsriver or the wolves,"
The wolves are one of the most prominent for their good players. They have never lost in the field of tennis and badminton. They have very skilled participants in gymnastics too.
"Louisville or the tigers,"
The tigers are one of the fiercest schools to go against. They have the kings of basketball, players of the quality of a national champion. Their volleyball players in the girls' division are also hard to defeat, they're always in for the win.
"Frehces or the eagles,"
They are the most unknown out of the 6 schools in the city. They're only strong in one sport, and that's in gymnastics. Though in every competition, they have a lot of determination.
"Ridgeville or the lions,"
Ridgeville is famous for its handsome and charming guys. Many singers and artists came from this school. They are undefeated-able when it comes to archery, football, and baseball. They are also famous for their amazing volleyball boy players.
"And Queens known as the falcons,"
Queens is the richest school among the 6 schools. Rain was supposed to study here but he insisted that he wanted to be in the same school as Devon. Continuing, the Queens take Ridgeville as their biggest enemy. The Queens are prominent in archery and track.
"We are representing our school, Zevrille, known as the pumas."
Zevrille is their school. Zevrille is very prominent in the field of football, volleyball girls and boys, and baseball. They had won every single award in every sport, but they couldn't keep it up.
"Last year's competition was on fire. There were injuries, close scores, and even a loss of voices. I hope everyone will, again, strive to do their best. Good luck, everyone!" The teacher smiled.
Everyone clapped and started chit-chatting. The teacher let them do what they want after she announced everything. It's been a month since the last event, and everyone's fired up. Many people had improved and many people strive to win.
"Rose, let's do our best in volleyball!" Houda, one of Rose's teammates, said.
"Mhm," Rose nodded at the cute boy, "Let's do our best, Houda."
"Mhm!" He smiled sweetly, "A lollipop for you," He gave Rose a grape-flavored lollipop.
"Thank you, Houda," Rose smiled and took the lollipop. He hates sweets, but these lollipops are his favorite. Houda makes them himself and gives Rose a grape-flavored one every day.
"Hey, I want one too!" Rain whined.
"Of course you have one!" Houda handed Rain a strawberry flavored one, "Here,"
"Thank you, Houda! You're the best, I love you so much." Rain hugged the smaller boy.
Houda giggled, "No problem, Rain!"
"Good luck on track too, Rain," Houda said before leaving.
"They must've posted the lists of participants on the board." Rain said, eating his lollipop, "Let's check!"
Rose nodded and followed Rain outside their room to the mainboard. Many people were looking.
"Oh, Cy is in badminton singles." Rain said.
"Cy? The new student?" Rain asked, Rose nodded, "Are you interested in him?" Rain raised his eyebrows.
"No, I'm not," Rose answered.
"Mhm, if you say so." Rain said and kept on looking at the list of names, "Devon's at basketball like he said." Rain said.
"He loves playing basketball more than anything else," Rose smiled.
Rain stopped and stared at Rose, "Mm, I knew it," Rain smiled.
"Knew what?" Rose looked at him.
"Oh, nothing~" Rain giggled, "Wow! We have so many participants in tennis this year. In archery as well."
"Yeah..." Rose nodded.
