"Oh, come on Ambrose!"

"Don't call me that, Averain." Rose fixed the sweater vest he is wearing with their uniform.

Rain gasped and opened his locker, "You're late again, what's up with your mom?"

Rose paused, "Nothing is up. She's just busy."

Rain nodded and took some books from his locker, "Let's go! Our teacher might scold us."

"If you didn't want to be scolded, you shouldn't have waited for me." Rose also took books from his locker and locked them after.

"So you're saying I should stop loving you? I love you so much, Ambrose!" Rain smirked and nudged Rose.

"Shut up." Rose sighed and pushed his friend away.

"Ow!" Rain shouted, making Rose look at him.

"Ah, I'm sorry." Someone had caught Rain's arm.

Rose looked up at the tall boy, "Hi Devon." Rose greeted him.

After hearing the name, Rain had stood up and picked up his books, "I'm sorry, it was my fault-"

"I'm sorry too. Here, I'll help you." Devon kneeled to help Rain pick up his books. Rain then winked at Rose.

"Thank you for your help!" Rain's smile looked like it would reach his ears.

"You're welcome. Bye, Ambrose and Averain." He waved at them and went in the opposite direction.

Rain then squealed after Devon left, "He's too handsome and kind! And he called you Ambrose but you weren't mad."

"Stop targeting my friend, Rain." Rain rolled his eyes and walked first.

"Wait for me!"

"Welcome back, students."

Everyone cheered as the teacher greeted them.

"How was everyone's summer break?"

Everyone's answers were good, fine, amazing, exciting. But Rose's was boring and blunt. He had to, every day, spend time with his mom. His mom never even cared about him.

"How was your summer break, Rose? I was torn when you said you and your mom had to go out of the country during the break. Well, your mom is a famous designer after all." Rose's seatmate, Basil, said.

"It was fine, Basil," Rose answered.

Basil laughed, "Okay, okay."

"Hey, Rose." Someone tapped Rose's shoulder.

"What?" Rose looked back.

"Our beautiful Rose is in a bad mood again," Ben said.

"You shouldn't call a man beautiful," Basil said.

"But Rose is beautiful," Ben said.

"Oh, shut up!" Basil rolled her eyes.

Rose proceeded to listen to his teacher. Even though he has great grades, he should still work hard right?

"Rose, Devon's here!" Rain squealed after he saw Devon at the door, waiting for both Rose and Rain. This was after their class.

"Ambrose!" Devon smiled, "Hello too, Averain."
