Chapter 31 Old Friends

Abby's Pov

I could hear Jaci laughing and I heard a faint giggle from Zayn.

I did that all on purpose.

Made her bring him the food and hang out with him I knew she liked him and if me and him couldn't be together...

I wanted Jaci with him.

I gently kissed a lion stuffed animal as Liam walked in.

"Abby you need to stop your going to get sick again."

I shook my head and put the lion down and I shut my eyes hiding the tears but one trickled down my cheek.

Liam walked over and brushed it off my cheek.

"Thank you Liam."

I had been so depressing lately I was dragging them all down and I felt terrible.

Niall finally started talking to me again Louis kept saying how he had been an absolute wreak.

I ran my fingers through Niall's hair as he slept on my lap.

Harry was laying on my shoulder and soft snores escaped his mouth.

Liam whispered "want me to wake them up?"

I nodded no and he sat down in the love seat.

I felt so empty and had no energy but I couldn't sleep.

Zayn walked down the stair and I slowly moves Harry and Niall without waking them and walked over to him.

I had dropped a couple pounds again and I had shorts and a tank top on with my hair in a messy bun like Jaci's.

He looked into my eyes and I felt my heart break a little more until he hugged me and whispered "I'm sorry I haven't been a good friend."

We had moved past the cancelation of the wedding we were fine being friends it was the death of our child holding us down.

He kissed my head and I hugged him a little tighter as Jaci made her way down the stairs.

"Hey" she said and walked over to me I hugged her tight and then grabbed her hand leading her to the kitchen.

"What is it" she whispered.

"I love you Jaci and I want you to be happy so I give you permission to be with Zayn if you want."

Her eyes lit up and she hugged me tight "you have no idea how bad I wanted you to say that."

Her and Niall had broken up a few months ago and she had liked Zayn when she first met him four years before he auditioned for the X-Factor.

She had gone to the Uk and ran into Zayn when she was getting coffee they talked and she never shut up about him.

A few years later she flew to the adoption centre and showed me Zayn. On the television.

She had totally freaked and when she found out they adopted me she was ecstatic.

She had called me all the time offering help and asking if I wanted to hang out but I was in danger and I didn't want her to get hurt.

Me and her talked about Zayn in the kitchen and she started laughing randomly "Liam likes you."

I looked at her puzzled "how do you-"

I was cut off by her laugh "it's the most obvious thing ever."

I blushed and her mouth opened wide "shut up."

"I didn't say anything."

"You like him too."

My cheeks got a brighter red and she started jumping up and down.

"No way" she whisper yelled.

I nodded and she squealed quietly then she grabbed my arm and we walked out.

Liam and Zayn were confused on what happened Louis, Harry, and Niall were all asleep.

Jaci suggested going out for dinner or something so we all got ready and for the first time in weeks I actually looked alive and I was outside.

She whispered "love is a deadly until you find the right man that will show you he isn't a knife that will leave another scar."

I looked out of the window and I felt Liam grab my hand and I looked over at Jaci and Zayn doing the same.

Could this be what I was looking for?

Could this be my home with these five idiots and my ridiculous friends.

That's when my phone buzzed a familiar name that I haven't seen in a long time was on the screen of my phone.
