Chapter 26 you lied to us

Jacis Pov

The night replayed in my head with Niall but the day Zach was in the store did too.

Was he coming after me again I didn't want Abby hurt.

Or Alex.

Or Kriston.

Zachary was a sweet boy back when I was 15.

The usual high school love story,
They meet.
They fall in love.
They date.
Kiss.
Break up.
And never speak again....

But he wanted to kill me.

He was in the story with some girl with purple hair.

Zach and I looked like a great couple but he was abusive.

He had a spell casted on me and I stayed with him for about 2 months then we broke up.

He wanted me dead though.

He hired a hit man and killed my twin sister by accident.

He tried to hit me with a car.

Even put a drug in my drink once.

But I went through months of training for stuff like that because of my dad.

I wanted revenge for my sister but her dying words were "don't get yourself killed kid leave him alone for me."

After school I moved to England he must have seen me in a magazine with Abby.

I was scared to text him but I slowly picked up my phone and texted him.

Jaci: Are you still going after me?
Zach: Well of course but I might kill that friend of yours first oh what's her name.... Abby?
Jaci: Stay the fuck away from her!
Zach: Oh sweetie you know that gang that almost killed Louis and Harry?
Jaci: Yeah, why?
Zach: your talking to the leader in after them unless you come to me darling...
Jaci: Text me an address and a time I'll be there.
Zach: how about that little shop you were in earlier and ran from me in about 30?
Jaci: I'll be there...

I set the phone down and picked up the picture of me and my sister and hugged it.

I left a not for Abby and the girls and another for Niall and the boys.

I was going to die I knew I was...

Zayns Pov

"Abby wake up baby."

"Hmmm what Zayn?"

"It's 3 in the afternoon."

"Oh my god seriously?"

"Yeah baby."

"Jesus I need to text the girls and tell them."

"Okey here's your phone" I say and hand her her phone.

"Thank you" she sits up and kisses me and types something but won't show me what.

Her face froze in fear.

"What?"

"Stay still."

"Why?"

"There is a red dot pointed at my stomach and I just got a text saying move and the baby is toast."

I slowly look down at her stomach and sure enough there is a sniper beam pointed at her.

"Abby on the count of three I'm going to jump in front of the beam and your going to run."

"Zayn no you might get killed."

"It will hit me in the back baby trust me."

"No."

"1-"

"Zayn I love you please."

"2-"

"Don't leave me promise."

"I promise 3-"

I jump in front of her and she rolls to the floor.

The bullet pierces my back and I fall too the floor and crawl down the stairs and make my way lock the front door.

"Abby?"

"Over here" she whispered and wiggled the first aid kit out in front of her.

I started silently laughing and crawled to her and took her face between my hands and kissed her.

"Follow me."

She grabs my hand and we run to the basement door.

"I'll go first" I whisper and unlock the door.

I grab the key and lock it from the inside and turn on the light and lay down on the bed.

"Well there is good news it didn't go through your spine and it exited through the front so we don't have to dig it out."

She takes out gloves and ointment and gently rubs the cream on the entrance and exit wound.

"Are you okay am I hurting you?"

"I'm fine baby."

I tried not to wince when she wrapped it but she could tell I was in pain so she kissed my shoulder and the back of my neck trying to calm me.

"Done" she said with pain clear in her voice.

I quickly turned around and grabs her face and crashed our lips together "don't cry baby girl I'm fine."

She nodded and sniffled then kissed me back.

We heard feet shuffle from upstairs "he's coming" she whispered.

I put my arms around her and pushed her in a corner "whatever happens just know I love you."

I grabbed a knife as the door opened I saw Harry's fluffy hair shadow in the doorway followed by three more shadows.

"Zayn! Are you okay" Harry ran up and hugged me along with the other three.

They look down at the bandages and look up to see Abby crying in the corner and they all run to her.

"Abby you okay" Liam asks and kisses her forehead.

Harry wraps his arms around her waist and mumbles things in her ear that makes her smile and giggle.

Niall hugged her tight and Louis joined in.

I walked up and they let go I picked her up and carried her up the stairs.

"Where is he?"

"I don't know Jaci texted us and said his name is Zach."

I pull Abby close to me and kiss her head "were not safe Niall and Louis pack bags Liam get us plane tickets somewhere and Harry get medications the baby bag by the door the Chargers stuff like that."

They nodded and left to do what I assigned them.

Abby's Pov

I grabbed Zayn as they boys walked in different directions.

"We need to get baby stuff the bottles and diapers all of that stuff."

He kissed my nose and ran up the steps and comes back down with large boxes full of stuff.

Before I know it I'm on a plane back to a god forsaken land I left for a reason America.
