Life and Death || Moon and Stars
Life ends just for another to start again.
It's like a never-ending cycle of life and death.
We wait around and play our part until the heavens take us back.
The pain and joy that fills our souls diminish to nothing more than a small kindle of flame.
An endless span of twinkling stars and pure black skies consumes our souls.
When we die we are taken to the skies and turned into stars.
As humans on earth, we are greedy and take.
But as stars we give, greed is non-existent.
We are all equal beyond the clouds.
The slim-waisted beauties and the pig-faced monsters shine brightly.
No one is above another.
No one is below another.
The thin-skinned young masters and the shameless merchants glow just the same.
No one is dimmer than the other.
No one is brighter than the other.
The big-mouthed villagers and the timid children are of the same size.
No one is bigger than another.
No one is smaller than another.
We all are the same after death.
Yes, maybe in life we exceed past others.
But, after death, there is no life to live.
No greed, no kindness, nothing.
After death is just another stage of living.
But it is a stage of death.
There is no life.
Just you, the stars, the sky, and the moon.
That is life at its peak.
Seeing the stars and taking them as they are is accepting that we are all equal.
Soaring through the sky is realizing just how little our own problems could be compared to someone else's.
Landing on the moon is tuning into reality - we are not alone.
