It's Just A Matter Of Seconds
People only seem to care for a matter of seconds until they just disappear and become one with the air.
Words can be as sweet as honey but rot and harden as time passes just as the leaves on a tree fall with the change of season.
Movements as gentle as a stray willow branch swaying along to the rhythmic tempo set by the breeze.
Looks that are awe-striking like a smoothly polished piece of jade hung at the end of a flimsy string.
Softly spoken like a bundle of sagebrush tied with an orange ribbon set aflame by a raging fire fueled by the thick span of trees.
Graceful like a dance composed of frantic running and ashen faces.
Heart throbbing facial features as pale as a ghost and as expressionless as a long-deceased loved one.
People only seem to care for a matter of seconds until their attention is brought elsewhere leaving me here pretending like I never gave a care in the first place.
