Izzy POV

I woke up my head hurt a bit but other than that I was fine. Wait... was I fine? I touched my neck. It wasn't a dream. I was really bit by Jane, but it was utterly amazing.

I stood and put my robe on and headed downstairs. Alec, Demetri and Felix where there. No sign of Jane.

"Jane went hunting," Demetri said. "Theres some food for you in the fridge," he said.

"Thank you," I said and headed to the kitchen. "She didn't need to get me anything I have plenty of cup a noodles, top roman, and spaghetti O's"

Alec chuckled. "She thought you needed a good meal," he said practically reading my mind.

I nodded and put it in the microwave. I sat down on the couch and slowly started eating.

"Are you not hungry?" Alec asked.

"Yes... no... I don't know. I am but at the same time I'm not, but I also have no appetite after today really. Though I know I should eat because of the whole magical bite thingy," I said.

"How tired are you?"

"Tired," I chuckled.

"You can go back to sleep darling," Alec said.

"No I'm good. I typically run a low sleep," I sighed.

"How many hours do you get a night?"

"Four or Five maybe less," I sighed.

He nodded and looked down. "I'm sorry," he said.

"It's kind of a normal for me," I sighed.

He nodded and I ate some more of my food. I felt slightly uncomfortable with everyone watching me, so I stood up and grabbed the remote and turned on the tv.

"What are you going to watch?" Alec asked.

"Probably nothing you want to watch. In-between the Saw franchise or Aladdin,"

"You have no in-between do you?"

"Nope I either like cute and innocent or violent gory movies. Want to know a fun fact about the Saw movies?" I didn't wait to let him speak. "All these traps are actually made to work in real life in saw. In Saw 0.5 they had to be careful and make sure that it wasn't in the actor's way of the mouth because it could really go off. They used pig guts to make the insides of bodies look real. In Saw 2 they throw Amanda into a needle pit, it took crew 4 days to replace all the actual needles into some plastic. That used 120,000 needles," I said.

Alex seemed shocked by my speech. "You're an interesting human," Alec said.

"Yup," I smiled and went to my movies putting on Saw 4.

I focused on the movie jumping feeling a hand on my shoulder.

"Didn't mean to scare you," Jane smiled.

"You didn't, just caught me off guard," I said.

"Can we talk?" She asked.

"Did I do something wrong?" I immediately asked.

"No, no, I just think it would be better in a private area," she said taking my hand.

I nodded. "Okay where do you want to go?" I asked.

"Bedroom? Outside? Wherever you prefer," she smiled.

"Bedroom," I said.

She took my hand and led me up to my bedroom. I sat down on my bed, and she sat down next to me.  My heart fluttered.

"I will understand your choice on this. But I need to tell you this. You had a question earlier. About why everyone felt so good. How everything felt so right, correct?"

I nodded. "Yes," I said. "It felt amazing, and I loved it," I whispered.

"Vampires... and well humans but it's typically not as strong as it is for vampires... we have a thing called a mate bond. It's essentially like a perfect match, a true love, the only one you want to be with," she paused, she looked nervous.

I took her hand gently and she smiled at it.

"From the day I started first talking to you I could tell something was different, but I thought it was because you reminded me of, well, myself?"

"How can I relate to you. You're perfect?" I said.

"When Alec and I were human. I had a gift. I can inflict mental pain. It doesn't harm the person it just stuns them for a bit until I stop. I had this gift when I was human. And I was alive in the era where there were rumors of witches, and with that comes along with the burning," she looked down. "There were many rumors about Alec and me, we got kicked out of school and we were blamed for animals dying, crops dying everything. Father, Alec and I were leaving town, and we were caught and burnt... Aro got to us in time. My father, not so much. He killed the whole small village and turned me and Alec. Which with rumors spreading around the school, two of them one that we are vampires and two you are homeless and have no parents. It reminded me of that. But it was much, much more than a simple I feel connected to you because of your history."

"I'm sorry," I whispered nearly able to feel the pain she was feeling. The mind was not pretty as I saw all the memories she was thinking about.

"It's over now," she said.

I nodded.

"When I was feeding from you today it took a few moments to realize everything that was happening."

She began to look nervous again.

"Breathe," I told her rubbing my hand on the back of her hand.

Why was she so nervous? She looked more than nervous, somewhat terrified to tell me.

"You are my mate," she said after a while. Then she began talking faster and at a higher pitch. "I understand if you don't want this. I'm a girl and you're a girl. I'll leave you be if you don..."

I cut her off. "Jane," I bit my lip.

"I shouldn't have told you," She said tears in her eyes.

"Jane, I'm bisexual," I told her taking both her hands.

"So, you're going to accept the bond?" She asked.

"Of course, I've never felt this way towards anyone. I've never really got in any serious relationship with anyone it didn't feel right with other people. So, I stopped going out after my parents died. I'd be happy to spend the rest of my life with you," I whispered.

Tears slipped down her cheek as she pulled me close. "I will always protect you," she whispered. "Always."
