"Lauren honey come downstairs it's time to leave," said my mom. After five years of living in Florida, my mom decides she wants to move to Tulsa. She never really explained to me why; she just said she "wanted a change". I loved it down here in Florida. It's always sunny and warm, and it rains a lot, which I love. I have so many good friends down here and now I'm going to lose all of that."Coming mom," I yelled down the stairs. I ran down the stairs and noticed my mom with a said look on her face. Before I could say anything, she said, "I know you don't want to move, but we are going to have to. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll make a bunch of new friends in Tulsa." I just sighed and said nothing. "Well," she pauses, "let's leave before the traffic gets bad." I nod and start towards the car.
*seven hours later*
We are almost to the house, but my mom said we needed to get snacks before we got to the house, that way we can just snack for dinner while we start to move in.
We stop at a gas station that has a huge sign that says 'DX' on it. As my mom gets out of her seat, she says, "Com on Lauren, I"m not picking out your snacks again. Go get your own. 'Uhhh okay someone's cranky,' I thought. I got out and headed in. I picked out my food and drinks and gave the to my mom to check out. My mom won't stop talking to the cashier, so I say, "I'm going back to the car mom." "Okay, whatever." I sigh and go back to the car, about to fall asleep when I hear the car door slam. I put my seat belt on and we start the rest of the drive to our new house.
