I woke up wrapped in Pony's arms, laying with him and looking at his relaxed face when all the memories came back. Pony protecting and caring about me, and right before we went to bed, him asking me to be his girlfriend. I grinned thinking about it.
I gently kissed his forehead. Right when I was about to snuggle up with him again, I saw his eyes flutter open, twinkling in light shining through the curtains.
"Sorry babe, did I wake you up?" I asked. He seemed to slightly smile at my nickname for him.
"No it's okay beautiful, I was already almost up," he said before giving me a peck on the lips.
We started heading downstairs and saw Darry cooking eggs and bacon, Soda sitting on the couch, and Two-Bit sitting and eating cake while watching what looked like Mickey Mouse.
"Breakfast should be ready soon," announced Darry from the kitchen. I sat down on one side of the couch, across from Soda. Pony sat down next to me and started planning out a day for us.
"So I heard there's a fair that's coming to town this weekend. We should definitely go. And don't worry, we can still spend the morning at home since it doesn't open until three," Pony said.
"That's sounds wonderful Pony," I said smiling.
"Awww young love," said Two-Bit, laughing, but still keeping his eyes glued to the tv.
"Hey Pony I'm gonna go over to my house to get my outfit for this afternoon. Wanna come," I asked. "Sure let's go."
In my room, we set out almost all of my clothes on my bed. "Well you are going to want to wear something warm since it's almost winter and were going to be out at night," noted Pony. I just nodded my head, still examining the clothes.
About 20 minutes later, we had three outfits planned out. Pony was writing down the pros and cons of each outfit, while I was looking for stuff to make the outfits better and fix the cons. We had a whole system going on just for one night.
10 minutes later we finally decided on and outfit. It was a black long sleeved turtleneck with dark wash jeans and black boots. I added a plaid scarf and a gold charm necklace. I also had a plan to put my hair up in a messy ponytail.
I put the clothes in my tote bag, because we decided I was going to change at his house so I didn't have to wear this hours before we left.
We walked back to his house with my clothes. He opened the front door and led me to his room so I could have a place to set down my bag. It was still a little early in the morning, so after we ate breakfast, we went back to bed and rested up for tonight.
3 hours later
Both Pony and I woke up to poking and prodding on out sides and faces. We looked up to see Soda above us.
"Hey so me and the gang are going out to the Dingo. You guys wanna come?" he asked. "Nah, we're good. We're going to the fair later today anyways," Pony answered for both of us. "Okay, just don't do anything stupid while we're gone," Soda said winking and walking out of the door.
Pony and I both laid there for a bit until Pony said, "Hey Lauren, you know what we should do? We should bake, or at least try to bake, a cake for when the boys get back." "Sound's like a plan," I said chuckling.
20 minutes later and now we are throwing balls of flour at each other. All of out clothes were covered in flour and eggs. We were laughing and having a good time until we hear the door jiggle open.
We both look at each other, knowing there's no way to escape this mess.
"Pony! Lauren! Where are you guys?" we hear Darry yell. We don't respond.
"Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm kinda thirsty. I'm gonna go get myself a beer," I hear Two-Bit say. We hear footsteps coming increasing louder come towards the kitchen door until it opens.
Two-Bits stares at us for a good two seconds before bursting out laughing. The rest of the gang comes to see what he is laughing about, and soon they all start laughing too. Except Darry.
"Well I don't know who you expect to clean up this mess, but it sure as hell ain't gonna be me," Darry says sternly. We both nod and start cleaning up the kitchen. "And don't think that you are going to be going to that fair until my kitchen is spotless," he adds on.
About an hour later, we finish cleaning and see that the time is already 4.
"I'm gonna go ahead and change in your bathroom," I tell Pony. "Okay go ahead we can leave whenever you want to." I nod and head into the bathroom to change.
I walk out to the living room and see Pony already changed and sitting on the couch. "Ready to go?" I ask. Pony turns around and looks at me. He blushes and stands up, grabbing my hand. He opens the door and holds it. "After you m'lady," he say and we start the walk to the fair.

"Thank you so much Pony," I say, holding a huge light brown stuffed bunny with a red bow-tie. "You know, you should really play baseball. You did good knocking down the milk bottles," I add on. "Thank you but that still isn't really my cup of tea," he says, smiling because he knows he made me happy.
By this time, it was almost 10 and we had already rode all the fun rides more than once. "Hey Pony," I start, "How about we end off the day on the Ferris Wheel?"I ask. "That sounds like a perfect idea, beautiful." I blush and start walking towards the Ferris Wheel, swinging my arms with Pony's hand.
We finally get on, and we start our long journey to the top. When we finally get to the top, I look at the view. Tons of different colored lights illuminated in the dark night sky.
I feel an arm go around my waist, and my body being pulled back into another. "I'm so glad you're in my life Lauren. You are the best thing to happen to me," I hear him say. I turn around with tears in my eyes, and capture my lips with his. "I'm so glad I met you Pony. At first, I didn't want to move to Tulsa at all, but you showed me that one person can make a whole problem disappear. Thank you, Pony," I said, kissing him again.
