*three days later*
School just ended and I started jogging towards the front of the school where Pony and Johnny were standing. Since it was going to be the weekend tomorrow, I wanted to make some plans to hang out over the weekend and maybe stay over again.
"Pony!" I yelled out. He quickly turned around with a smile on his face and started waving at me. I waved back as I sped up getting to him faster. Once I got to him, I planted a kiss on his cheek and with that, we started heading home.
About halfway home, I could tell that the skies started to grey over and that the air was getting humid. It soon started sprinkling, but we didn't mind until it started pouring.
Pony lifted his jacket over both of our heads as Johnny lifted his own over his head, and we started sprinting towards his house, still getting soaked in the ran, but laughing as it happened.
We eventually got to his house, all of us drenched. As we walking in, Darry saw us and went to go get some towels. 'At least I'll get to spe- CRASH. I jumped at the noise and immediately fell into Pony's arms. "It's gonna be alright," he whispered in my ear, instantly calming me down.
Finally, Darry came back with the towels, handing them to us and we all start drying ourselves off. Once we are all decently dried off, Pony takes us to his room. "Here you can borrow a pair of boxers and a shirt if you want. It's raining really hard out there and I don't want you to get sick," Pony says sweetly. I blushed knowing how much he really cares about me.I walk up to him and grab the clothes, muttering a small "thank you" as I headed to the bathroom to change.
I came out of the bathroom and looked at Pony he had a small smile and had a blush on his cheeks. "Where's Johnny?" I asked. "Oh he said he was really tired so he's sleeping on the couch," Pony responded. I just nodded and laid my head down on his chest.
"You know Lauren, I really think I'm falling hard for you," Pony whispered, stroking my hair. " I think I am too Pony... I think I am too," I whispered back to him before we both fell asleep in each others arms.

I woke up to the loud beeping of an alarm, but it didn't sound like my own. I turned towards the window to see that it was still nighttime. Before I could go turn to see what time it was, I hear a muffled voice coming from Pony's radio.
"ATTENTION LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. THOSE WHO LIVE IN TULSA, SAND SPRINGS, OR ANY OTHER CITY NEAR THOSE, PLEASE TAKE COVER. THERE HAVE BEEN SPOTTINGS OF A MEDIUM-SIZED TORNADO HEADING TOWARDS THESE CITIES. PLEASE TAKE COVER AS SOON AS YOU CAN. THERE WILL BE MORE UPDATES ON THE TORNADO LATER, SO PLEASE STAY TUNED," it said before it cut off to static.
I looked towards Pony with a worried face. Living in Florida, I have never had a tornado come near our house, so I was scared to death. "C'mon Y/N let's go to the basement. Darry, Soda, and Johnny are all probably already down there," he told me, somehow staying calm.
We start heading down there, me clinging to Pony for dear life. When we get to the bottom of the stairs, I see Darry setting up pillows and blankets. "Just in case the tornado does end up hitting the house, which is unlikely, I have the pillows here to cover your heads so you don't get hurt by the debris if it hits you," Darry informs us. I nod and sit in the corner of the room with Pony next to me.
I move to grab a blanket when Pony says something to me. "Hey, it's going to be alright beautiful, most of the time these tornadoes don't even hit the house." Him calling me beautiful already calmed me down a bit. I grabbed the blanket and threw it over Pony and I, me nuzzling my head into his neck as I crawled into his lap, both of us holding each other as tight as we can.
"Hey Dar do you know what time it is?" Soda asked. "Uh yeah its 3:34," he replied looking down at his watch. I wanted to sleep so bad, but I was just too scared. Suddenly, we heard static for a few seconds, and the a voice coming through saying,
"THE TORNADO WARNING IS OVER. I REPEAT, THE TORNADO WARNING IS OVER. YOU MAY NOW CARRY ON AND COME OUT OF HIDING."
With that, I let out a sigh of relief and Pony stood up, picking me up with him, and started heading upstairs. When we got to his room, he gently set me down on the bed and rolled over to his side. "Y/N?" I heard Pony ask. I turned towards him waiting for to ask his question. "Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked. To say I was ecstatic was an understatement. "I'd love that," I said grinning from ear to ear. He grabbed both sides of my face and pulled me into a passionate kiss. 'I think I'm in love with him,' I thought.
