Chapter 8: Team Galactic

Jaiden POV

"We made it you guys!" I say as I take my first steps into Eterna City. It took awhile to get here but I'm ready for my next Gym Battle!

"It's way to early for this." Geno groans. I turn around and he walks like a zombie. "So tired..." I pat him on the shoulder. "I'm going to the Pokémon Center. Let me know how your battle goes." He waves as I watch him go to the Pokémon Center not to far from us.

"Was it really a good idea to wake us up?" I ask Natasha and she nods. "Of course. The earlier you have your battle, the better." She starts walking. "Plus you'll catch up to Tyler..." she says her name with much dislike. Nothing I can do about that but it's fine.

I look back. "Huh?" I look back because I thought someone is following me. I felt that way for awhile. Like I was being watched the whole way here to Eterna City. "Oh well."

No One POV

Jaiden runs after Natasha to the nearest hotel to stay for the night, as she gets further away, two pairs of ear pop out of a bush. "Vee!" The Eevee with the flower pops it's head out of the bush. "Eevee!" The other pops up and looks in the direction of Jaiden. "Vee!" The female Eevee says with joy and jumps out of the bush.

"Well what do we have here?" A voice gets the Eevee's attention. "Vee?" The female Eevee looks up, and it only sees the letter G. Before being put in a bag. "Vee?!" The male Eevee looks in shock seeing his sister being taken.

"An Eevee huh? Pretty rare to see one of these out here." The man says and another with the same outfit. "Got another Pokémon?" He nods to his partner.

"Good. Maybe now boss won't be mad at us for not stealing any Pokémon as of late." He nods and they start running. With Eevee in the bag.

"Vee! Eevee!" The Eevee jumps out the bush and starts running after them. "Vee! Eevee!"

Jaiden POV

"Alright Chimchar, you ready for today's battle?" My partner jumps up and down on the bed and gives me the thumbs up. "Chimchar!"

I smile at him. "That's good. I'm counting on you, Starly, and Anorith in this next battle. So let's show them what we got!" I raise my hand and Chimchar jumps up and gives me a high-five."

That's the plan today, use Pokémon that are good against Grass types and hopefully things will go smoothly. I have no doubt that Tyler got herself a flying type at this point. She's gotta since her Piplup and Shinx aren't good against Gardenia.

Natasha came back to drop off Geno's bag. He ended up falling asleep t the Pokémon Center as soon as he walked in. "Heh." Thinking about it, it's a little funny. Before she left, she told me she'll be waiting for me at the gym so I better get going.

I pick up the bag and moved it over to the bed that he'll have once he gets here. Then something hard pops out. "Ah. Must be the stones."

I pick up the Thunder stone and... looked at it. "..." I don't know why. But, when I look at it I think of those Eevee's days ago. I wonder how their both doing in the wild. I'm sure their ok but they are really friendly and they were invasive in our camp. I am worried that they'll encounter a Pokémon that isn't so friendly.

"Chimchar!" My partner jumps on my back getting my attention. I turn to him on my left. "Hey now, getting excited are you?" He nods smiling on my shoulder.

"Well, we better get ready for our battle today. Let's get our second badge!" I cheer as I stand up and Chimchar cheers with me.

I got all my stuff and left the building. Once outside, I see something I wasn't expecting to see. "Eevee?"
