Jaiden POV

"Thank you for waiting! Here are your Pokémon back at full health and ready for battle!" I thank Nurse Joy and take my Pokémon back. With three Pokémon now I'm ready to take on Roark and his rock type Pokémon.

Chimchar has gotten stronger yes but his fire type moves won't be that much effective. If only he knew ground type or fighting type moves. Starly is at even more of a disadvantage being a flying type. And lastly, I have the newest addition to the team, Buizel. He's a water type and that's just what I need in order to win this battle.

But before that, I should call my parents. Inside the Pokémon Center there is a phone but it also works that I can FaceTime them as well.

I call my parents and immediately my mom picks up. "There she is! I've been waiting for you to call home!" Mom like I know she would starts asking questions and if I'm doing alright and I've been safe.

"Yes mom I've been safe. Me and my Pokémon are doing just fine. Even met a girl who's been helping train as well." I do bring Natasha because she has taught me more then I thought I did.

"That's great to hear! And how is Tyler? Have you two been traveling together as well?" I shake my head. "No mom. I think she's already at the next gym knowing her."

"A shame. I was hoping to see her again." I look to the side. "Yeah..." to change the subject I ask how are things at home.

"That's great that you ask. I also wanted to let you know that you can now send you Pokémon here." I smile. "Really? I can transfer my Pokémon home now? Did we finally get a bigger backyard?" My mom nods.

"Me and your father know you will have lots of Pokémon on your journey and you can't have all of them with you. So we decided to remodel the house. Making the backyard bigger, but also get a Pokémon transfer machine so you can transfer them here. And I promise to take really good care of them."

I smile and nod. "Thank you mom. I also got some new Pokémon for you to meet." I pull out my two Pokéballs and brought out Buizel and Starly.

"This is Starly, and this is my newest Pokémon, Buizel. Say hello you two." Starly chirps and Buizel gives a nod. "So cute! Can you send over now so I can hug them to death!" Both my Starly and Buizel look at me with sweat-drop. I nervously laugh. "That's my mom for you..."

I tell my mom that I have to go so I can get ready for my gym battle. "Goodbye mom. I'll be sure to call you soon. Love you." "Love you too Jaiden!"

I end the call and I felt a hard pat on my back. "So you came after all." I look back and it's Tyler. "Tyler? What are you doing here? I thought you would be already in the next town."

"Nice of you to think that. After all I am better then you. But I'm still here because I was out getting my own fossil Pokémon." Tyler pulls out her Pokéball.

"You got a new Pokémon already?" She just laughs. "Of course I did. So did you obviously with that Buziel." She looks at her Pokéball. "After I had my gym battle with Roark a couple days ago, seeing his own fossil Pokémon I decided to get my very own. So I went out to the mines and dug me a fossil."

She already had her battle with the gym leader. That means after our first battle she immediately at battle with him. "So I guess you did win."

"What are you stupid? Of course I won. That battle was so easy I only used one Pokémon to beat him." No doubt she only used Piplup since it is a water type. But I didn't think she would win with just one Pokémon.

"But enough about me being awesome, here is my new Pokémon." She tossed her Pokéball and out came her fossil Pokémon.
