Capitulo 10
THANKFULLY, after twenty minutes, the vehicles began to set in motion.
Humming a song to not let the silence occur, a stray cat began to cross the route she was taking, causing her to hit the brakes before she could run over the kitten. "What the fuck was that!"
"Whoo!" Her hand landed on her chest, she was so scared for a second.
Eiassey began to get out of her car, the cat took it offensively by jumping and hissing with his tail up and the fur went rigidly upright when she tried to coo him.
"Kitty, I can hiss too but you're going home with me." She successfully caught his body and didn't bother even if his claw dug her skin.
"Paw Home isn't this way and I badly need to go home so maybe I can get you there once it's sunrise, okay?"
Eiassey placed a cloth to the next seat then gently placed the cat on it so he'll be warmed up while he's inside of her car.
Emitting a long, deep, audible breath in solace, she started to maneuver her car back to the track.
The cat was now calm and wasn't showing any tendency of irritation or anxiety.
It seemed like she got into the cat's good side.
Just right when she got home, she come across her father Astennu and Kye arguing over stupid candies.
Maybe it's because they both have a sweet tooth.
Finding a solution to tame them, she called their attention, "Guys!" They didn't hear it at first so she tried it again. "Guys!" This time, her voice was louder.
"What?!" Astennu yelled back as if their argument was disturbed.
"Look what I found." Eiassey handed the serene kitty to Kye which he gladly took with a toothy grin.
Kye even showed it to the grinning Astennu as well but they soon composed themselves. "Yeah? What about it?"
"So what?" Astennu asked while checking the cat's ears by lifting them.
Eiassey extended her hand. "Then, I'll take him back—"
"No, no, no." Kye drew away the kitten from her touch. "Back away and do what you gotta do, honey."
Scrunching her nose up, she began to walk away and leave them alone, scooting to the kitchen when she got a call.
Bringing it in a loud speaker so she can listen to what it had to say as she poured water in her glass.
"Hi! This is Celine, calling you back from the Dior store. We did charge your card and it did go through successfully, two thousand seven hundred US dollars was charge to your account."
