Capitulo 14
THAT'S when Astennu rushed to Emmanuelle. "BABY!" Emmanuelle was busy pouring water in the pitcher.
Astennu tugged the hem of her shirt to have her attention while pointing at Eiassey who can only tilt her head at the scene presented. "Baby! Did you hear what our child just said?! Baby! Baby!"
"What?" Emmanuelle quirked her brow as she faced him, Astennu was out of breath and was at the verge of crying.
The funny thing was, Astennu was sliding down the floor with both of his hands holding onto Emmanuelle.
"What is it, Ashten?" Emmanuelle pulled her short which Astennu almost got off her. "Are you planning to strip me? Stop whining!"
"But—baby! Our daughter!" He panted. "Our daughter!"
Emmanuelle eyed Eiassey that the latter could only give an apologetic smile, ready to approach them if ever Astennu will expose her.
"Eiassey! Eiassey is deflowered! Now she's carrying a—" Eiassey smashed her palm to his mouth before he could say more.
"I was just kidding! I failed math! That's all!" She withdrew her hand when she felt her hand getting licked by her childish father. "Ew! Why did you do that?!"
Eiassey wiped her palm to Emmanuelle who got irritated and grossed out. "Eiassey!" She pinched her side, making Eiassey blenched in pain. "Now why the fuck would you say that?"
Emmanuelle removed Astennu's hands off her who ended up agonizingly hit the floor, Astennu nearly teared up because of the impact, murmuring about how his knees and chin crushed against the marble floor.
"It's a joke, just a joke! I just heard several news from my batch mates who got pregnant! It just slipped in my mind."
She even raised her hand as a sign of assurance. "Promise! I'm not pregnant!"
Emmanuelle was about to open her mouth again to scold Eiassey when she heard chaos somewhere at the staircase.
They caught Fionntan struggling to win against Eiassey's dog Charm, Fionntan was prostrated on the remaining stairs as Charm feasted on him.
"Calm your dog, Eiassey," her mother instructed her, Eiassey pulled her dog by her collar. "What's this, young lady? Why is Charm wearing a spider costume?"
Eiassey removed her hair clip from her hair to seize her blue merle by wrapping the clip around her leg, it's something she do when her dog was overwhelmed by beatific.
Because of her large dog, by clipping her leg can stop her from creating movement, she doesn't know why the magical clip immobilized her dog but it actually worked like a charm.
