Capitulo 25
SMIRKING, Eiassey reached out a hand, bending her fingers back and forth to call Zoren to proceed with his next attack to her.
Astennu assigned his former students for sparring, they're not using any weapon unlike the usual, just raw for the purpose of evaluating their solidity.
It's been two hours since they started and Eiassey doesn't seem to be exhausted any minute now while her sparring partner was already wearing thin.
Eiassey squatted with her fists not so far from her face in a fighting stance, Zoren was about to pounce to her when Astennu clapped his hands, making Eiassey glare at him and Zoren still midair before dropping flatly on the ground.
"That's for today kids, see you in the next meeting." Astennu walked around, writing something in his book record as he left.
"What?! I haven't destroyed his face!" She pointed at Zoren who was beginning to lull asleep on the ground.
"Give it a break, Eiassey," Alazne spoke, he's one of the audience who attended the match of the former fourth years.
"Yeah! You've been training your ass since the other day when you came back this afternoon after Nue scolded you for burning the offices of the manager and director!" Eiassey only rolled her eyes at Lazzini's summarized narration before she threw a towel over her shoulders.
"Hey, Eiassey!" Hussey tossed a water bottle for her twin and after catching it, she didn't bother opening the cap and just squeezed the body to let the water cascade on her head.
She sat on Zoren's back as she waggled her hair, making the water splash at the now awakened Zoren.
"I'm wet! I'm getting wet!" He thrashed his limbs around, too tired to lift himself even.
Eiassey was giving all of her weight on his back so he couldn't do anything but to be pressed on the ground.
"The carnival is opening tonight, we should go," Zowen announced, eyes were glued on the screen of her phone while eating a granola bar.
"Still? But fiesta already ended?" Hussey questioned as she put on a new shirt.
The carnival in their town usually open either when Christmas was nearing or when there's festival, it's not usual if the carnival will open in the third quarter of the year.
"Really?!" Lazzini perked up from his seat. "We should come! Eiassey, are you coming?!" He swung his head towards her who was now beside him after receiving begs from Zoren, there was food in his mouth and some was spilling.
Wiping her cheek due to the food that Lazzini splattered at her, Eiassey watched as everyone's eyes turned to her, knowing too well that she never went to anything that she thought as stupid.
