Paul was 9 months pregnant with Noah. They were recording an album while Paul was singing, he all of sudden he felt pain. He tried singing again but it hurt again. Then all of sudden he felt water in his leggings.
"Gene I think my water just broke." Paul said in the microphone.
Gene got up from his chair and litterally burst through the recording booth door. He carried Paul to the couch in the recording studio.
"What happened?" Bruce asked as he walked in the room with Eric and their son.
"Paul's water broke." Gene said as he dialed 911.
Eric put his son down and went to help Paul feel comfortable.
"Gene the baby is coming. He's coming now." Paul said breathing heavily.
"Honey you can't have him here. We don't have anything to deliver a baby." Gene said freakin out after hanging up with 911.
"Gene I've done this two times. I'm gonna be doing this two or three more times." Paul said.
Paul felt a sharp pain and screamed.
"Gene stand by my side please." Paul said.
Gene went to his side and Eric went to check how dilated Paul is.
"Paul I see the head! PUSH PUSH!" Eric yelled.
Paul pushed as he held Gene hand with his face buried in his husband's chest.
"AGAIN PUSH!" Eric yelled.
Paul gave a big push and after that Eric was holding a baby. The ambulance came and did their thing. The baby started crying so did his parents from joy.
"Mr.Simmons would you like to cut the cord?" The paramedic asked.
"I would love to." Gene said.
Gene cut the cord and the paramedic handed the baby to Paul.
"Congratulations you two on your beautiful baby boy." The paramedic said.
Paul held his son and was crying. The paramedics put Paul on a stretcher to take him to the hospital. Gene went with him.
They arrived at the hospital. The doctors checked on their baby luckily he was a healthy baby boy.
"What are you gonna name him?" The nurse asked.
"Noah." The couple said at the same time.
The nurse wrote the name on the birth certificate and handed it to Gene.
"Honey you should rest. You just gave birth without an epidural." Gene said as he put Noah in his bassinet.
Paul nodded and fell asleep fast. Gene kissed his husband head and then his sons.
"What a story this will be to tell you little fella." Gene said to his sleepy newborn son.
