Paul is now in the hospital. He posted on Twitter that he's in labor and can't wait to meet his baby.
Everyone wished him luck and sended love. A contraction hit and he was breathing through while moaning in pain.
"Paul breathe you got this." Gene said as he was holding Paul's hand.
"It hurts so much." Paul said.
"Honey you got this just breathe in and out slowly." Gene said.
Paul did as he was told and just laid sideways towards Gene. Gene was wiping the sweat from his husbands face.
"Ok that was five minutes apart we're almost there." Gene said as he looked at his phone.
"I want this baby out of me." Paul said about to cry.
"Be patient sweetie." Gene said as he rubbed Paul's arm.
Two minutes later. Another one hit him and it made Paul scream in pain. Gene called the doctor it was time to push.
The doctor and nurses came in.
"Yup he's ready to push. Alright Mr.Simmons push." The doctor said.
Paul pushed and screamed as he did.
"Ok on the next one push. Take a breather." The doctor said.
Paul breathed and felt another contraction. He pushed while moaning in pain.
Gene was recording the birth and was just telling Paul to breathe.
Paul did a big push and screamed.
The baby was out and started crying. So did the parents.
"It's a boy." The doctor said.
"Oh honey a boy." Gene said crying.
Paul cried and held the baby on his chest for skin to skin contact.
Gene cut the cord and the doctors measure the baby and cleaned him.
The baby is swaddled in a blanket with cute blue hat.
"What are gonna name him?" The nurse asked.
"Aaron." The couple said.
The nurse wrote the name down on the birth certificate and gave it to Gene.
Gene posted a picture of his son on Twitter and Instagram. Everyone was awed and loved the name.
Paul also posted a picture of his son. Everyone congratulated him and Gene.
"Paul honey. Get some rest I'll watch him." Gene said.
"Ok." Paul said as he gave Aaron to Gene.
Paul fell asleep while Gene was holding Aaron. He kissed his sons forehead and Paul's forehead.
"I love you both so much." Gene whispered.
Aaron fell asleep so Gene put him in the bassinet. While Gene crawled into bed with Paul.
"Thank you Paul. I love you." Gene whispered
Paul smiled and whispered "I love you too and you're welcome."
They both fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
