The band was getting ready for their concert. Paul was done with makeup and putting on his outfit. He was sitting on his chair feeling depressed.
"Hey um I'm gonna go to the um bathroom real quick be uh right back." Paul said trying not to sound sad.
He went to the bathroom and cried quietly so no one can hear. Gene being his fiancé he went to go check on him he sensed something was wrong.
He went to look for him. He heard crying from a bathroom. He went inside and saw Paul sitting on the floor crying.
"Paul baby what's wrong?" Gene said as he sat next to him.
Paul wipes his tears and said "What if KISS one day fails and all the dreams we had gone arevforever. KISS is everything I dreamed of. I don't want it to be gone forever."
"Listen I know it won't fail. We don't our fans the KISS army for nothing. Bedsides we sell out arenas quick and everyone still loves us." Gene said holding Paul close.
"Do you still love me?" Paul asked with crack in his voice.
"Of course I do. Look at your ring what does it mean?" Gene said.
"A piece of jewelry?" Paul said.
"No this means I love you so much I wanna marry you. You are it for me." Gene said.
Paul looks at his ring and remembers when Gene proposed to him.
Flashback
Paul and Gene were holding hands while walking around a park. Gene had the ring box in his pocket.
"I still can't believe we're living the dream of being rock stars." Paul said.
"Me either. You wanna know something else tho." Gene said.
"Oh yeah what." Paul said.
They stopped Gene made Paul look at him.
"I met you and now I can't imagine how my life will be if you weren't in it. I don't wanna lose you." Gene said.
"I don't wanna lose you either." Paul said.
"I love you." Gene said.
"I love you too." Paul said.
Gene gets down on one knee, got the ring box out of his pocket. He opened it and asked "Paul Stanley, will you marry me?"

Paul covered his mouth almost about to cry but manages to say "yes."
Gene slides the ring on Paul's left ring finger. He stands up and they kiss. Paul lets his tears of joy fall as he looks at his ring.
Flashback over
Paul stopped looking at his ring and put his head on Gene's shoulder. Gene holds him.
"KISS is gonna keep going even after we retire. All the fans will still love us no matter what." Gene said.
Gene kissed Paul's forehead and said "I love you my starchild."
"I love you too my demon." Paul said as his voice cracked from crying.
They kissed for a good five minutes. Then Ace knocked on the door and said "hey lovebirds we're on in five minutes."
"We'll be right out." Gene said. "You ok now?"
"Yeah I'm okay. Thank you baby now let's go give our fans a show they'll never forget." Paul said.
"Now there's my happy energetic Paul I know. Let's do it baby." Gene said.
Gene and Paul got out the bathroom. They went to get their guitars. The couple kissed each other good luck. The concert started.
"HOW YOU DOIN?!" Paul yelled.
Gene smiled at Paul as he talks to the fans and seeing him have fun. He couldn't wait to marry him.
