Paul has been taking care of his two children who are still young. Lilly is ten and Aaron is eight. Ever since the tour ended, Paul decided to be a stay at home mom while Gene was working on his band tour. Even though Paul thinks Gene should finally rest and enjoy his retirement from kiss.
Of course Gene said no because he loves music and playing it for fans. Paul couldn't stop him so he just decided to be a house husband.
One day Gene came home from rehearsal.
"Is that you Gene?" Paul asked from another room.
"Yeah it's me honey." Gene said as he locked the door.
Paul ran up to him and hugged him. "Hello my baby."
Gene kissed his cheek and Paul went in for kiss on the lips.
"How was your day?" Gene asked.
"Oh good. I did my normal routine with taking the kids to school then come home so the chores. Go grocery shopping then go pick up the kids from school. They go do their own thing and I start making dinner." Paul said.
"Oh honey you do so much you should rest right now. I'll get the kids for dinner and I'll even wash the dishes." Gene said.
"Oh no honey I'm fine. I chose to be your house husband the best thing about it is I can just relax from retirement of kiss and stay home and be pretty for you." Paul said.
"Well first off you're beautiful all the time and secondly I want you to sit down and rest. I know being a mother is hard work for you." Gene said as he lead Paul to his chair at the dinner table.
"Well okay if you say so." Paul said as he sat down.
"Good." Gene said.
Gene put the dinner at the table and poured juice for the kids and water for him and Paul. He called the kids to come downstairs for dinner.
Lilly and Aaron sat down at the table.
"Yay mommy's brussel sprouts my favorite." Aaron said.
Lilly smiled as she took a bite. Aaron was eating a little too fast.
"Aaron honey don't eat to fast you can choke." Paul said.
"Sorry mommy i just love your brussel sprouts." Aaron said with his mouth full.
"No talking with your mouth full either." Gene said.
"Oh yeah sorry." Aaron said before swallowing.
They continue their dinner until Lilly said something.
"Mommy I have a field trip coming up and you need to sign the permission slip." Lilly said.
"I will after dinner sweetie." Paul said. "Where you guys going."
"The aquarium. They said they have a dolphin show where they do tricks and splash you with water." Lilly said.
"That's sounds fun." Gene said.
"Yeah daddy. Also can I have money for the gift shop they said they let us buy something." Lilly said. "Please daddy."
"Ok sweetie but you only gonna get twenty dollars." Gene said.
"YAYYY THANK YOU DADDY." Lilly yelled excitedly.
"Of course sweetie." Gene said as he pat Lilly's head.
"I wanna go to the aquarium can I go mommy?" Aaron asked.
"No honey you're not in the same grade as your sister maybe when you're in her grade you get to go." Paul said.
Aaron pouted while he drank his juice. They finished their dinner and it was time for the kids to go to sleep.
"Good night mommy." Lilly said yawning. "I love you."
Paul kissed Lilly's forehead and said "I love you too my angel goodnight."
Paul also kissed Aaron goodnight.
"Night mommy I love you." Aaron said.
"I love you too my baby." Paul said.
Paul went to his and Gene's room. Gene was already in bed on his phone waiting for his husband to join him. Paul put on his pjs and joined him.
"Baby get off of your phone and cuddle me." Paul said hugging Gene's arm.
"I will sweetie I'm just going over the setlist the tour manager gave me." Gene said.
Paul sat up and crossed his arms while pouting. Gene noticed but still has to look over more things for the tour. Then Paul started crying.
Gene immediately put his phone down and hugged Paul and asked "Honey why are you crying?"
"I thought after we retired from kiss we would have more time together but ever since you told me you're going on a small solo tour with your band, all you did before was just be on your phone and not pay attention to me." Paul said sniffing.
"Oh honey I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel unloved. You know I love you and I always will." Gene said. "I thought since you decided to be a stay at home mom I thought you'll be too tired to be lovey dovey."
"Yes I'm tired but I just want feel love from my husband after he comes home from working on his band. You won't even let me go tour with you just to be there with you and our kids will miss you I just wanna not be alone." Paul said starting cry harder.
"I'm sorry baby I feel terrible about this. Look I'll let you and the kids come with me you can do whatever you want like go shopping enjoy yourself. I'll turn off my phone right now and we can watch something on tv and fall asleep cuddling and we'll do that every night." Gene said.
"Aww Gene really?" Paul said sniffing.
"In fact you look so sad you can go on a shopping spree tomorrow with the kids and you can buy new clothes for the tour." Gene said.
"Aww honey thank you." Paul said as he hugged Gene. "I love you so much."
"I love you too now come on and pick something to watch so we can cuddle." Gene said.
"Ok." Paul said as he got the remote.
They decided to watch a Disney movie and picked beauty and the beast. They both cuddled and fell asleep cuddling as the movie ended.
