Chapter Fifteen: The Truth

"Who the hell are you?" Megumi asked. This is going to be a wild family reunion. "I'm your father." Toji announced. "My what?" "He's your father Megumi." He shook his head. "No. You're dead." "It's true. And I'm alive." Megumi punched his father in the face. "Megumi!" I called. "Where have you been?! Why weren't you around?!" He shouted. "I can explain." "Then talk." Megumi spat. "I left the clan and got married. Fushiguro is your mom's last name that I took on. Our clan, the Zen'in Clan disown kids who doesn't possess cursed energy. Our clan also sell each other. I knew you were going to be sold when you got older so I asked Gojo to take you in for me. I also faked my death which made me miss out on your life. I've heard recently that you're supposed to be head of the Zen'in Clan because Naobito is dead and I don't want you to do that. So I killed them. You don't need that burden on your shoulders." "Wait Zen'in? Like Maki Senpai?" "Yes. She's your aunt." "My what? So I'm a Zen'in?" "Technically yes. For months I've been watching you to make sure you were okay. I wanted to speak to you but I had to watch my back." "So you mean to tell me instead of finding a way to be an active father, you stalked me?" "Yes." Megumi scoffed. Toji got up. He took off his ring necklace. "This has your mom's wedding ring and mine." Megumi hesitated and stepped back. Toji stepped forward and placed it on his son's neck. "I never forgotten about her. I know I failed as a father but let me make it up to you." "Make it up to me? You've been missing for fifteen years!" "I know. And if I could go back time I would. I did what was best for you. You didn't need to be bothered with our clan." Megumi turned to me. "And you knew?" "For six months yes. It wasn't my business to tell you." Megumi shook his head. "Feel better soon." He mumbled before leaving. He slammed the door behind him. Toji sighed. "I'll talk to him." I volunteered. "No no. It's my mess and I need to clean it up." I sighed. "Don't stress yourself over it. What's important is your recovery." "You were shot too. You need fo take it easy as well." I reminded him. "I am. But she missed my vital organs." Toji lifted up his shirt. I can see the stitches of his wound. "You Zen'in people love guns." "Huh?" "Don't think I never noticed the guns at your home. Along with the knives." "For safety reasons." "Come here." He got up and got closer to me. "Take off your shirt." "Yes ma'am." "It's not even like that you freak." I took my contacts out. I traced my fingers along his stitches. I grabbed the end of the stitches and pulled it. I yanked the stitches off. He immediately started bleeding. I pressed my lips against the wound. I looked up at Toji. His head was back and he let out a few moans. "God..." he trailed off. "Fuck that feels so good." I pulled away. I wiped the remainder of the blood with one of the blankets. "There. I know you won't take it easy but at least you won't reopen your wound." I announced. He looked down at me from over his tits. "Why do you get a thrill over that?" I asked. He shrugged and pulled his shirt back on. "You're a handful Fushiguro." He chuckled. "So you say." I put the bloody blanket in trash and climbed back in bed. "Knock knock." Shinosuke came in with Naoki in his arms. "Mama!" I reached my arms out for Naoki. Shinosuke placed him in my arms. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I wanted to see if you were awake yet. I haven't heard from Fushiguro." Shinosuke glared at him. "My bad." He apologized. I kissed all over Naoki's face causing him to giggle. He grabbed my face. "You miss me? I missed you too." I smiled causing him to smile. There was another knock on the door. "Come in." I said. The doctor walked in. "Oh good you're awake." She said. Toji grabbed Naoki as she examined me. I turned over. She examined the bullet wounds. "Try not to push yourself." She said. I nodded. "How are you feeling?" "Pretty good. I mean I'm in pain though." "Well your vitals are good. Let me just draw your discharge papers and you can go home." The doctor walked out. "I don't trust her." Toji said. "Yeah I'm going to see Ieiri after this. Alright y'all gotta step out though. I need to change." I started changing when they left out. There was another knock on the door. "Come in." The doctor walked in. "Here you are. I also prescribed medicine for you." "Thank you." I took the papers and walked out. I met up with Toji and Shinosuke. Toji grabbed my waist. Shinosuke looked. "Oh? Am I missing something?" He asked. "She's my wife." Toji claimed. "Eh I'm not your wife until you put a ring on it." I corrected. "I told you he likes you Y/N. Never listens to me." "Okay fine you were right. Can I help it if he's so off an on? One minute he's normal and the next he's cold. But he told me why he was acting like that so all is forgiven. And he knows I'll kick his ass if he ever does that again." I joked. Shinosuke put Naoki in the car seat and strapped him in. He triple checked it. We all got in. Shinosuke pulled off. My phone started ringing. "I have my phone with me?" Confused, I took it out of my pocket. Ieiri was calling. I answered it. "Just the person I'm coming to see." I said. "Glad you're awake. Kugisaki told me. I'm calling to let you know Gojo's awake." "Really? We'll be right over." I said before hanging up. "Gojo's awake." I announced. "Finally." Shinosuke said. He pulled up to Jujutsu High. "I'll take Naoki home. I'll see you there." Toji said when I got out. I nodded. The last thing I need are these two going head to head. I closed the door and Shinosuke pulled off. I headed inside the building. My body was aching so I had to take my time. I walked in the recovery room. Gojo was sitting up. His students were there. "Six eyes. Glad to see you finally awake." I greeted. "How did I even get out?" He asked. "Your squad here rescued you. Panda came and got me. Things weren't looking so good." I explained. "I can barely remember what happened. The last thing I remember was asking Geto who was he." I took a deep breath. "About that. Geto is dead. Always have been. His body was controlled by the curse Kenjaku." I answered. "Kenjaku? I've heard of him. That bastard. Where is he?" "He's dead." He nodded. "Also..." I trailed off. "A few people died during the Shibuya Incident." He looked at me. "Nanami Kento is dead. He was killed by Mahito." "He's what?!" "I held a proper funeral for him. Principal Yaga Masamichi was killed by Yoshinobu Gakuganji. Mai Zen'in committed suicide. Toge Inumaki is missing an arm and Todo Aoi is missing a hand. Kugisaki lost her eye by Mahito and was in a coma for a while. As you can see, she's recovered. Yuji was force fed Sukuna's fingers. He now has sixteen in his system. He volunteered to eat the last one although I didn't want him to. When Panda came to get me, I did everything I could to make sure we rescue you successfully. Yuji, Hoshiyomi and Panda killed Mahito. Yuta faked Itadori's death just so he could live." I continued. "And we held a proper funeral for Geto." Ieiri added. "I can't believe everyone's dead." He lowly said. Gojo was shocked. "Can I speak to you for a minute?" Megumi asked me. "Yeah sure." I followed him out of the recovery room. "So that's my old man huh?" "Yeah." "How did you even find him?" "He found me. I mean he was a regular at my coffee shop. Don't worry he stalked me too. He found out I'm a Takahashi before I even found out he was a Zen'in." I said. I noticed the necklace was still around his neck. "Listen I know this is hard on you. And you have every right to be mad. I'd be mad too. I won't defend him or anything." "It's just a lot to process. My father who is supposed to be dead isn't, and I'm part of the Zen'in Clan." "Well they're all dead now." I corrected. "Right. So it's just me, Maki Senpai, and my old man." "Not exactly. I mean she's the reason your father has that scar. I didn't bother to ask what happened but I'm sure he deserved it." "Does he have feelings for you?" "Yeah." "So he moved on." "Don't think of it that way. He truly was beating himself up over it. He was afraid he was going to forget your mom and he didn't think he deserved to fall in love again." You were sold and his birth mother disowned him and was willing to let him get killed for not producing cursed energy and can't see curses without those glasses." "Like Maki Senpai. "You don't listen to me now." Megumi played with the rings around his neck. "Does he still love her?" "Always and forever." He let out a sigh. "About earlier....when I said you don't qualify, I didn't mean that. I just-" "I know. You grew up without a mom and to find out some random woman is involved with your father who is supposed to be dead, possibly marry your father, it's understandable. I would say the same thing too. But like I said, no one can replace her." Megumi hugged me. I froze. Then I wrapped my arms around him shortly. "You don't like hugs. Let alone give out one." I pointed out. "I know. So don't get used to it." I laughed. "Alright but I need Ieiri to take a look at me." I said. He let go and we headed inside.

Sorry this is super long! Probably the longest chapter I've ever written. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter. Megumi seems like he might come around? We'll see.
