"Where is my baby?" She asked, pointing the gun at me. "Your baby?" I repeated. "Don't play dumb. I've been watching you and Toji with my son. Acting like a happy family. You kidnapped my son! Now where is he?" She said. "Oh so you've been plotting and scheming." Naoki was crying. Dammit. The gun must've scared him. In an instant, I grabbed Toji and took him upstairs. Placed him in his room on the floor. "Watch over Naoki for me." "Y/N!" The woman was behind me. "Don't move." She threatened. She walked over to Naoki and picked him up. "There there. Mama's here." I was scared and angry. Toji was injured and Naoki was in danger. I can't be reckless, but she has to die. "Don't try anything funny or he gets it." She warned while pointing the gun in Naoki's back. He kept crying. I have to do this sufficiently. I grabbed the gun out of her hand while grabbing Naoki and kicked her. She flew against the wall. The gun wasn't far from her. She picked it up and fired multiple rounds. I turned and shielded both Toji and Naoki. I felt as the bullets hit my body. I gasped. "It's alright Naoki." I cooed. "Y/N!" Toji screamed. "I'm fine." I placed Naoki in Toji's lap. I coughed up blood. Toji got up and and placed Naoki back in my arms. "Nobody messes with my family. Even if it is family itself." He said angrily. "Then you all can die together." She said while pulling the trigger. "No!" I got up and fell back down. Shit. The bullets are slowing me down. I'm not bulletproof. I'm still human after all. But Fushiguro cannot die. I kept Naoki in my arms. She kept pulling the trigger. It was jammed. Toji rushed to her and punched her in the face. I barely had energy to hold Naoki who was crying uncontrollably. "It's alright. Nobody will hurt you." I kissed his forehead which my blood made a kiss print on it. My vision started to get blurry. Toji was fighting the woman. He was at a disadvantage due to the bullet wound but he kept fighting. I saw as she was stabbed in her neck and then everything went black.

I woke up, groaning. I looked around me. Bright lights met my eyesight. I shield my eyes. "Thank god you're awake!" I looked over to see Toji. I realized I was in the hospital. He rushed over to me. "Why am I in the hospital?" I asked. "You have three bullet wounds in your body." I thought back for a minute. "Oh yeah. Man today wasn't what I expected." "You've been unconscious for three weeks." I sat up. "Three weeks?!" "You scared the hell out of me. Don't ever do that again idiot." Toji hugged me and kissed all over my face. "I thought we lost you." "The bullets hit your vital spots. I truly thought you were gone. I will protect you. It's my job." I groaned. "Where's Naoki?" "Shinosuke's watching him. I told him I'll let him know as soon as you were awake." Toji watched me carefully. "I'm fine. Really." "This is my fault. I didn't bother to look for her." "Don't go blaming yourself." "No I counted and there wasn't one hundred fifty people at the meeting. That's where I fucked up. This wouldn't have happened." "I said stop blaming yourself. Everyone is fine. She's dead right?" "Yes." "Then don't worry about the past." The room door opened. Yuji, Nobara, Megumi and Hoshiyomi came in. "You're awake!" Itadori yelled. I grew wide eyed. Toji looked at his son. I looked at Megumi and Toji. Megumi looked at Toji. Well shit. This is getting awkward. Nobara gasped. She looked at me. I looked at her. I nodded. She grabbed Itadori, Hoshiyomi and dragged them out. She's pretty sharp. "Hey!" They shouted. "We just got here." "Out. And keep it down. We're in a hospital." Nobara closed the door behind her. It's good to see her alive. Even if she has to wear an eyepatch because her eye was knocked out. I took a deep breath. "Fushiguro." I called. "Yes?" They answered in unison.
