"Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Y/L/N Y/N. I own this place. Yes I fired her for sexual harassment. I take it very seriously here. I've been building up a case against her. You see the cameras here doesn't have audio so I cannot just fire her. She had multiple complaints on her. Different scenarios. She didn't know I was coming in today. They know when I come into work but today I decided to pop up and I finally caught her in the act." "Oh." Was all he could say. He swirled his coffee with his finger. "How did you know I wanted more coffee at this exact time?" "I take consideration into every regulars here. You're here every day in this exact seat, at this time, with a newspaper in hand, you let your coffee cool down just a tad bit. You can tell by your finger which is why you rather not stir with anything else besides your finger. And after your second cup, you'll leave to do whatever. You'll be back tomorrow and do it all over again. Only this time, Tsukiyomi won't be bothering you. Or anyone else for that matter." I explained. "Very intuitive. Not sure if I should be impressed or creeped out." "Don't worry I'm not a creep. Just have a keen eye." My eyes traveled down to his left hand. There was a wedding ring on it. "So you're married?" I asked in disbelief. "Widowed." The guy corrected me. "Oh that explains why you're here every day. Otherwise you wouldn't be here. Unless her coffee sucked. Anyway, my condolences." I got up, grabbing the coffee pot and walked back. I continued my shift. The guy was watching me from behind his newspaper. I kept working until it was time to close. "Good job today everyone." I said as I took off my apron. We grabbed our things and I locked up after we left out. I started to walk towards my car. Something caught the corner of my eye. I looked over to see the widowed man. I walked over him. "So you're just hanging out?" I asked. "Not really." He replied. "I just know what time you close." "You're stalking me?" "More like intuitive." He threw back at me. He twirled his wedding ring around his finger. "Do you want to talk about it?" "About what?" "About her." I replied while pointing at his ring. "We can walk or drive if you need somewhere private." I added. "It's not that. I'll be going out of my routine. I'm already off balance because I came back here." "Is someone after you?" I quickly scanned around, looking for suspects. "Not exactly." "Then-" "Don't ask." He sternly said. I kept my mouth shut. "This your car?" He pointed while walking towards it. "Yes...." I trailed off. He waited. I unlocked it and rushed over. We got in. "So?" I asked. "I'll give you directions on where to go." "I feel like I'm being kidnapped." I muttered as I pulled off. The drive was deathly silent except for when he gave me directions. So many thoughts ran through my head. Who is this man? Why did I let him into my car? Why did he come back for me? Why does he seem cold? What happened to his wife? This man doesn't plan on telling me anything, that much I know. "Stop." he said. I pulled up to the wherever we are and stopped. "Where are we?" I asked. "Shhh." The man kept staring ahead. I looked at him then looked ahead. A boy came out of a building, followed by a man...with a blindfold on? How can he see? Suddenly the man got out of the car. I got out as well. He kept his eye on the two people. I walked over to the man. "D-Do you know those people?" "My son." he replied before getting back into the car. I got behind the wheel. "Your what now?" "Don't make me repeat myself." "Okay well you're going to have to take that tone all the way down with me." The man grabbed my face. I removed his hand. "What the hell are you doing?" He just looked at me. "I don't trust you." He finally said. "Yeah. The feeling's mutual." I shot back. I pulled off. "You want to tell me what's this all about?" "No." "I expected that. Then tell me your name." "Fushiguro Toji." "You're a real handful, Fushiguro." "Stop the car." He got out as soon as I stopped. Toji started walking. "Tch." I said while pulling off. I drove home. What a very rude and mysterious man. God I hope I never encounter him like that ever again. "Shit." I realized he's a regular so I'll be seeing him again. I sighed as I got out of the car. I locked my car and headed inside. "Stupid Fushiguro Toji." I cursed as I stomped upstairs after taking my shoes off. I quickly undressed and headed into the shower. I breathed deeply as the hot water hit my back. I hummed as I washed the day away. Today was a long day and all I wanted to do was crawl into bed then sleep. I got out the shower and put my dirty clothes away. I stepped into my room. My phone started ringing. Shinosuke was calling. "Hey what's up?" I greeted. "How was your day?" "I don't even know where to begin." I said while putting on my night clothes. "That bad huh?" "The job wasn't that bad. Besides firing Tsukiyomi and Hoshiyomi having a family emergency, it was another busy day." I said while putting on lotion. "You've finally fired Tsukiyomi? Wait if it wasn't that bad, then what's the problem?" "I finally caught her in the act. But this guy my regular to be exact is off." "What do you mean off?" "He's mysterious. He's always serious and I don't know anything about him." I replied as I sat down. "Did you try to get to know him?" "Of course I did. All I know is that he watches his back, he's a widow and he has a son." "Watches his back?" Shinosuke repeated. "Yup." "Stay away from that man. Nothing good comes out of someone watching their back. He sounds like a dangerous man. Maybe someone's trying to kill him or he's wanted by the police." "I don't plan on conversing with him ever again. But Fushiguro said no one's exactly after him. Whatever that means." "Sounds like a lie. How do you he was married and have a son?" "I noticed his wedding band and I asked if he was married. He corrected me. Oh and he took me to see his son." "You went with him to see his son? Are you mad?!" "I didn't even have a choice. He hopped in and told me to drive. It's not like I officially met him. We basically spied on his son. His son was with some white haired man wearing a blindfold." "This is a lot. I'm serious Y/N stay away from him. You don't now what kind of man he is. You've been kidnapped before." "Don't remind me." I yawned. "I'll let you sleep. Watch your back." Shinosuke said before hanging up. I climbed into bed and went to sleep.
