Mackenzie awoke the following morning to the soft glow of sunlight peeking through her dorm window. Stretching and yawning, she slid out of bed and immediately began her morning routine. At her vanity, she carefully applied her makeup-starting with foundation, blending her blush until it looked natural, and finishing with a light coat of lip gloss. She checked her reflection one last time before smiling in satisfaction.

With her makeup complete, she made her way to the kitchen area where breakfast awaited. She chose waffles that morning, golden brown and warm, drizzled with just the right amount of syrup. The sweet taste made her morning feel even brighter.

The rest of the day passed quickly, filled with assignments and laughter shared with friends.

When the final bell rang, Mackenzie and Kayla returned to their dorm. Once inside, Mackenzie slipped off her shoes and brushed out her hair, enjoying the soothing rhythm of the bristles against her scalp. Soon after, Kayla joined her, and the two began their nightly routine together.

They stood side by side at the sink, brushing their teeth and chatting softly about their day. Afterward, they applied lotion, the fresh scent of vanilla and lavender filling the air. Mackenzie then unclasped her earrings and bracelet, setting them gently in her jewelry box, while Kayla did the same with her own.

The girls each took a warm shower, steam curling in the room as they relaxed and washed away the day's stresses. When they finished, they slipped into their pajamas, their laughter and whispers filling the room as they got comfortable.

Finally, they switched off their lamps, the dorm room growing quiet and peaceful. "Good night, Mackenzie," Kayla said softly.
"Good night, Kayla," Mackenzie replied with a smile.

Within minutes, both girls had drifted into a restful sleep, ready to face another busy day tomorrow.

The next morning,
