The following morning, Mackenzie awoke and proceeded to read "The Devil of Downtown." Subsequently, she brushed her teeth and selected an outfit that included pink shoes. Following this, she made her bed and prepared breakfast, which consisted of a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Afterward, she brushed her hair and utilized the bathroom facilities. Mackenzie then organized her school bag before waking her friend Kayla. The two girls subsequently departed for school, where Mackenzie had lunch with Johnny.
Upon returning home from school, Mackenzie removed her makeup but opted to apply blue eyeshadow. She then used mouthwash and selected her outfit for the following day, which featured dark blue shoes. After brushing her teeth again, she removed her jewelry, only to adorn herself with a blue necklace and matching blue earrings.
Mackenzie then applied lotion, drank some water, and styled her hair into two braids. She completed her preparations by donning a blue dress with an attached skirt and heels.
Mackenzie attended to a few final details and sent Miles a photograph of her homecoming dress. Miles responded with a compliment, describing it as beautiful, to which Mackenzie expressed her gratitude. Finally, she informed Kayla of her departure. Johnny and Mackenzie departed for the homecoming event in their red Ferrari Portofino. Mackenzie expressed surprise, where as Johnny remained unfazed.
