Andrew [Explaining another world]

Andrew stared up to him listening quietly before he looked to his food and took a bite speaking softly "please tell me more." He paused quietly before he spoke "I know a little bit but.. you never.." he paused and picked at his food before he put a water chestnut on franks plate "I hate those things. They're gross." He leaned his head back thinking quietly "I guess I should be more honest with you first. Just so you know I can't be lying." He looked up to frank quietly "you dont know me. But I know so much about you and Bruce.. because im not from this world. The place where I'm from... well... you both died." He stared up to him quietly "I tried so hard to save you both but I couldn't." He looked to his food quietly "you and Bruce died. To protect me. And I dont understand why you both gave your lives for me. I dont fucking get it. And" he froze and put his tray on the ground leaning agaisnt frank quietly speaking softly again "youre both fucking idiots who risk yourselves for people you love. And try as I did I couldn't open a door In time to save either of you. We were surrounded and all I had to do was open one stupid portal but I was so panicked that I couldn't even do that simple task. And by the time I did it.. you were both almost dead.. you.. pushed me through and told me to close it.. so I did. I left the two men I loved to bleed out and die on a roof because people started hunting Bruce when batman stopped turning up to crimes. And when you stopped punishing people for a while. It was noticeable. We didn't think that at the time because we were happy. We didn't realize how obvious Bruce getting into a relationship with a demon and a dead man would be to litterally everyone with a grudge on you two. So I begged the demon king to give me another chance with you two. But he said that the world I came from had no place for me anymore. So I was sent here. And now I have to do things so much differently than when we first did them because if batman stops showing up and Bruce gets in a relationship everyone will know he's batman. And as worried as I'm going to be about that about him coming home with bruises and cuts I would rather doctor him up instead of loosing him." He looked to the ground and mumbled "I would rather play doctor to you both than have anyone realize youre the vigilantes that have been killing and putting people in jail." He slowly slid his hand up franks arm and grabbed his hand carefully tracing the lines on his palm "your gun is jammed by the way. At least it was when you and I first fought. I dont how long after you and Damian met that was. But I dont think it was that long." He stared at Frank's hand quietly then slowly reached in his pocket and laid franks dogtags in his hand "you gave them to me. After a few years of us being together. I dont know why you gave them to me and not Bruce I dont think Bruce really cared he never wore necklaces anyway.. I guess thats why you gave them to me. I wore them all the time after I got them. And well" he picked at a bit of blood on one of the tags before he paused and mumbled "its coated in both your bloods still. You can test it if you want its your blood. Well... yours and Bruce's." He stared at the tags quietly then kissed franks cheek before he picked his tray up and ate a bit "I dont know what happens to the kids. But I do know you and Bruce can't stop fighting crime without replacements. I know Damian was training with you to become the next punisher. But Bruce just.. he stopped fighting crime mostly at my begging and constant worrying. I didnt think it would lead to you both dying though." He looked up to frank quietly again then very gently untucked his dogtags "i didnt pickpocket them from you as you can see." He poked the rings on the chain of the ones in franks hand "thats Bruce's parents rings. He gave them to me when I went through the portal" he quietly stared at them. Before he whispered softly "please don't stop fighting crime until Damian is ready to take over. I really don't want to waste this second chance I have at keeping you two."
