Toby and Kyu <that moment when your dog is better at dates than you>

Toby walked out into the snow pulling his hood up and wincing against the brightness on the white expanse. He looked to demon who walked slowly beside him. He grinned quietly and watched him.

Demon sniffed the air then looked towards the house watching buttercup silently then looked towards a sled before walking to her and picking her up by her scruff carrying her to the sled dropping her on it before he walked forward and bit one of the leads growling as he pulled on it pulling the sled forward a bit

Toby chuckled softly and walked to him "get to your spot bud." He followed him out slowly and harnessed him "wait." He walked to the shed and opened it "lets go dogs line out" he waited as several other dogs ran out behind demon.

He smiled and walked back harnessing them up and carefully checking the lines "demon do you want to bring Kyu along as well?"

Demon barked at him then looked forward

Toby smiled and chuckled softly tilting his head ever so slightly "am I supposed to know what that means. Do you like her now or not?"

Demon looked back to him silently wagging his tail slowly

Toby chuckled and shook his head walking inside and bundling Kyu up in blankets before he took her out and laid her in the sled carefully moving buttercup inside the blankets with her and tying them down carefully before he zipped his coat and buttoned it.

He checked through the straps once more then walked to the house closing and locking the door. He walked back and got on the sled pulling his giggled down to shade his eyes "Hike!" He held the handles as they pulled watching closely before he relaxed as the sled started moving. He looked up the trail quietly "Gee!" He looked to the sky then back to the dogs and trail "Hike Hike!" He inhaled deeply and watched the trail ahead "Haw!" He looked down to Kyu and buttercup for a moment smiling warmly before he looked back to the trail "Whoa! Whoa!" He got off as the dogs stopped and quietly walked towards some sled marks curiously he looked around then to his own sled before he looked around "hmm." He walked to the dogs and checked their lines carefully "easy." He stopped at Demon and knelt down patting his head gently "hey boy. Where do you want us to go?"

Demon pulled towards the woods a bit the two dogs behind him stumbling as they got pulled

Toby looked into the woods curiously then back to him then back to the woods "you sure about this?"

Demon barked once then howled causing the other dogs to join the howl

Toby chuckled softly and kissed his head "alright alright. Quiet down" he looked back towards the sled tracks then to demon "someone in trouble bud?"

Demon let out an indignant huff causing Toby to chuckle "well its almost like you understand me. Maybe you should have been named lassie."

Demon looked at him and sat down with another loud huff

Toby chuckled quietly "alright alright I'm sorry boy." He walked back to the sled and got on "hike!" He held the handlebar and watched demon steer them into the woods quietly shaking his head for a moment before he looked down to Buttercup and kyu then back to the dogs.

They came to a slow stop at a frozen waterfall and demon looked back to him and barked at him. Toby slowly got off and looked around "really?" He unhooked the dogs carefully and watched them explore the immediate surroundings" he walked back to the sled and sat next to it watching them before looking to the waterfall.

Demon walked over and laid across his lap wagging his tail. Toby looked down to him and chuckled "how'd you even know about this place bud. What are you secretly running a wolf pack while we are up here?" He pet his head gently and looked to the waterfall "it really is pretty bud. I think they will like it here."
