The Illustrious King

CHAPTER : 01

LOCATION : GUSU KINGDOM

The hustle and bustle was going around in the Gusu Kingdom . Butlers were running here and there doing their appointed jobs . In the place's meeting hall sat their illustrious and dignified King , Wang Yibo. He was surrounded by his trusted men waiting to hear praises from the King on their ideas . Yibo was tapping his fingers on the railing of the chair listening to the blabbering of his men .
"My King, Lotus Kingdom are rumored to be strengthening their Army . We need to start working on our forces too " the man sitting in the middle of the crowd known by the name of Min Kong spoke respectfully. The others on his side scoffed at him out of jealously when they saw the king nodding.
"You are right , absolutely right " Yibo said nodding while putting his finger on his chin indicating that he is thinking . After a few minutes he spoke in his cold , heart throbbing voice .
"Command them to prepare weapons , this time the victory should be ours . 6 years have passed the old man probably lost some strength and intellect " Yibo smirked as his men nodded at his every word .
"As our king commands " the Minister who was quiet the whole time said and bowed to his king .
"But ..." someone from the crowed voiced "the queen is still young and powerful how-" but he immediately shut his mouth when he saw Yibo glared at him
"Useless piece of shit lock him up !" Yibo commanded angrily as the unlucky guy was dragged out .
"She is a woman and a woman is weak. Never ever me , Wang Yibo would kneel down to a woman in defeat !" Yibo raged as the crowed shivered and nodded slightly moving backward to avoid the unpredictable wrath.

LOCATION : LOTUS KINGDOM

"Zhan! You little punk wait !" A boy angrily scrunching his nose ran after the other mischievous boy who was laughing while teasing his brother . "Cheng you old man run fast !" He shouted which boosted the anger in Zhuocheng who ran faster .
They reached the lotus lake panting as Zhan laughed and jumped on the boat . "I'm so tired " he said looking at cheng who was still running in his direction . "I will tell father you mischievous brat " cheng huffed and got in the boat with Zhan . "Here " Zhan passed some lotus seeds to his tired brother . "Father and mother are busy with the kingdom matters again , I wonder when are they going to let us participate in the war , don't tell me they trained us for nothing " Zhan pouted as cheng scoffed "they don't want us to go out in the battle field because they think the king will captured us as his slaves and then no one will be here to take over the throne if something happens God forbid " he explained as Zhan nodded while munching on the sweet lotus seeds.
"King Wang Yibo-" Zhan words were muffled by a hand covering his mouth which was his brother "lower your voice ! We share walls stupid " he whisper shouted at Zhan who rolled his eyes and took his hand away from his mouth "okay " Zhan whispered and continued " the king is ugly and fat , I don't know what makes him so proud " he whispered as cheng nodded "yes you are right he is ugly ... you remember the sketch we saw in the market he sure is more ugly than that " Zhan agreed . Their conversation was disturbed by a maiden who bowed shyly at the two handsome young masters "my princes , the king and queen are asking for you " the two of them jumped from the boat and headed to towards the grand hall .
Lotus Kingdom was a Kingdom of freedom . There were not more than two rules implemented on then majority
1 : to never betray the lotus people and join hands with enemies in any condition even if it takes your life
2: each and everyone should know self defence be it adults or kids , it was important .
Zhan and cheng went in bowing respectfully at their parents and sat down on the cushions beside them as they were served with variety of foods .
"My princes I would like you both to stay more inside the palace" the king said smiling at his two sons who gladly returned back the smile nodding their heads in unison "yes my king !". The Queen coughed ,making the two boys alert "I'm expecting a very compromising attitude from both of my princes . as you might know by now that we are going to be facing war anytime soon , so I request you both to stay out of the battle field matters and keep the curiosity down " she spoke clearly yet sternly , as if she was shooting daggers not not words . Zhan and Cheng nodded again hesitantly "yes my queen " they said in unison their tone a bit unpleasant. Both of them were clearly not happy with the idea of being grounded during the war when they know they are needed out on the battle field , especially Xiao Zhan who was born as rigid and clever . His personality is like a free bird , not afraid of the direction of the winds , just trusting his wings and flying wherever he desires . He is an omega by nature but one can mistake him for Alpha because of his skills and passion. Zhan is good at everything be it fighting with swords or flirting with girls . Making someone cry out of irritation or laugh out of silliness . He was a firm believer in soul mates . He knew there is someone on this earth waiting for him just like he was doing since 20 years of his birth.

LOCATION : GUSU KINGDOM
After the chaos at the meeting hall , King Wang Yibo , was sitting in his room , the Jingshi sipping his tea and calming his mind. He was just 13 years when he was kidnapped from his childhood plays , and wooden swords , when his parents passed away while conquering the West Kingdoms. The little Yibo who was not even done mourning over his parents death was declared as the king the very next day of the funeral . The perplexed little Yibo who was not even finished studying the basics was requested for the kingdom meetings . He wanted to shout and yell at them that he is just a kid who knows nothing but basics about the politics ,and can't perform the responsibilities. But the cruel people barely felt pity , guess this is how the life of Royals work . He watched his toys thrown away and replaced by letters and the swords of his father and mother , which once he was not allowed to touch . The sudden events made him selfish and proud . After conquering the west Kingdom where his parents died in defeat at only the age of 15 he was declared as the most powerful young king in the history .
This success and fame made the young king go crazy and do whatever he wished . He held a war against any Kingdom he desired . The feelings never existed for him . After growing up and encountering such awful events he never believed in love and comfort . He always thought that when he loved his parents dearly and they were his comfort so why did they die ? Is it not that love makes you stay ? . The princesses who were presented to him since he became an adult were rejected by the Cold and emotion less king . Some of the rumors started going around that the king might be gay but who knew what was the reason .
Yibo got up walking outside in the grassy fields . He walked over to lake surrounded by the rabbits that he always adored since his childhood , which were also snatched away from him because they thought they are a distraction to the young king . But despite that he always came to visit the rabbits of the little kids who disappeared to learn sword fighting . He took a rabbit and patted it's snowy butt smiling at their cute scrunchy noses . "Look at you hungry fella , always looking for the food " Yibo talked to them as he grabbed a few carrots he brought with himself sneakily . Feeding the hungry rabbits .

LOCATION : LOTUS KINGDOM

King Mo Xing and his wife Queen baozhai were having an important discussion regarding the war
"My king the alliances will be strong but we have to be stronger , we can't watch our Kingdom fall down " she spoke as the king nodded "my beautiful boabei, if I have such a strong queen by my side how can I ever watch my Kingdom fall down " the king uttered the words lovingly shying the queen
"My love , I'm worried about our princes especially Zhan, I don't know if he will be able to control his curiosity " the queen spoke worried as the king laughed lightly and held his wife's hand "don't worry baobei he is skilled in sword fig-"
"Pardon my king , but you know he can't , cheng maybe but not Zhan . He is an omega if the king God Forbid captured him as his slave and treated him like the slaves are...then I'm afraid of the chaos that might happen " she spoke cutting of the king in the middle of his sentence and tightening her grip on his hand . "I understand , I do but you don't have to worry nothing like that will happen " he smiled assuring the worried queen who nodded despite the negative thoughts flooding her mind .
