LOCATION : LOTUS KINGDOM
Yibo was shocked , did his lover called him ugly ?! And fat ?!. Yibo clearly remembers that when he checked himself in the mirror he looked quite handsome and he is definitely not fat at all . There has never been even a single person who called him something like this in his entire life beside the his lover .
Meanwhile, zhan stayed shocked . He just can't believe his eyes . So all this time he was just living in a lie that the rival king is ugly and fat . Cheng who was scared that his brother might ruin everything and maybe walk the guests out of the Kingdom when they barely even stepped into the mainland .
"My prince let's walk the guests in " cheng said sneakily pinching zhans butt to warn him . Zhan hissed and looked around before gulping and finally stepped back .
Xichen took the opportunity and coughed as yibo who was obviously a bit sad over how his lover didn't find him attractive looked over at Xichen and nodded .
The king and Queen leaded the way to the grand hall . Yibo would steal a few glances of his mesmerising lover .
He watched zhans beautiful back view which included a plump ass which made the king gulped and thankful that he fell for such an absolute beautiful and amazing human.
Zhan was still in awe . The king is flawlessly handsome . How on earth he wasn't aware of it .....but of course he can't blame himself no interactions were done with the neighbor Kingdom in these years , no one knew the truth until today.
The kingdom as mentioned before was decorated beautifully . The decor and beautiful presentation of lotus as well as other flowers of different kinds were done .
Though yibo was looking at his only flower , Xiao Zhan but Xichen decided not ignore the effort and commented from time to time to make it worth it .
They entered into the grand hall and a special place was made for the king and his men .
"King Yibo of Gusu, we would like to celebrate this day joyfully . If you are willing so a very few awestruck performances are prepared specially for you . " the king spoke
Yibo nodded
"I don't like wasting efforts so I'm willing "
The king nodded and along with queen he walked yibo to his place which was on the right .
The king and Queen walked to their own seats . While zhan and cheng sat at opposite side of the guests .
Yibo smirked when he saw zhan just in front of him .
Zhan who was a bit uncomfortable from the stare of the King fixed his eyes on his parents .
Cheng was shyly stealing glances at the minister who was unaware. Xichen's mind was clouded with different thoughts. He hopes that everything goes smoothly .
Yibo was staring at zhan as if he is the only human to exist. He still can't get it straight that how can a man be so gorgeous and pretty . The beautiful mole under his lower lip which he is currently biting on . Those big defined eyes . Beautiful hair . His lover is the definition of perfect creation .
Xiao zhan on the other hand was nervous from the stare. Did he do something ?! Why is he so weird and scary ?! Did I flirt with his lover ? But wait that's not possible ....oh shit! He heard me call him ugly and fat, didn't he ? I'm doomed ! Now I have ruined everything ! This arrogant king will definitely use it against us . He is so cheap minded . Even if I say that I didn't mean it that way he will still not listen . Why do I do ?! He looks scary- but I am Xiao Zhan, I am scarier I will confront him .
Zhan overthinking about the king and staring at the ground . Yibo who was just staring at zhan didn't even hear Xichen .
"My king " Xichen called for the third time . He wanted to nudge his king but that would be inappropriate. Xichen couldn't take it anymore and deliberately moved his body forward to touch it with Yibo's . Yibo who looked back immediately frowned at Xichen who smiled and leaned forward to whisper
"My King, The King and Queen has their eyes on you please show some reaction " Xichen spoke in low soft tone . yibo turned around and passed a quick smile to the king who returned back . Meanwhile, Min Chong was sitting at the back burning in anger. how much he hates this place . this place , this very Grand Hall makes him sick . utterly disgusted. these people , everyone in this hall of Lotus Kingdom urges him to take his sword out and slash their throats. But how unfortunate he cant do anything . he still is anticipated to know the reason behind this all .
Zhan leaned in closer to Cheng
"Cheng I guess all this time we were living under he stone to believe that the rival king is ugly and fat " he said making cheng nod his head lightly eyes fixed on the artists performing. "mhn! he is really handsome so are you planning on sparing his life " cheng whispered back with smirk plastered on his lips which made zhan scoff and roll his eyes
"I will kill him otherwise , also i think he heard me call him ugly and fat he keeps on staring at me "
zhan said which made chengs eyes widened and looked over at zhan in disbelief
"when?! are you crazy ?! stupid ! " cheng whispered shouted making zhan shrug his shoulders as if he doesnt care and looked away making his brother curse him mentally and hope this ruin nothing between the two newly united kingdoms .
After the performances , Yibo and His Minister along with the two personal soldiers which included Min Chong as well were invited for the lunch and talk to the dining area . they sat around the big table on the soft woolen cushions with lotus symbol engraved on it . Yibo looked over and to his front sat the Queen , then the first born Prince and then second born Prince, while the king sat at the master position close to yibo and bozhai . Cheng was a blushing mess since he sat right in front of the minister who makes him go crazy . Zhan on the other hand was stealing glances at the king to see what he really is upto . The King cleared his throat and asked the maidens to serve the food . the maidens blushed and almost fought among themselves to serve the handsome king .
"Thanks for the Food King of lotus" yibo said and
the king nodded "King of Gusu , we are happy you liked our hospitality. We all are happy that the feud between the two kingdoms finally came to an end. and we all here wants to know the reason for such sudden decision " The king Mo Xing spoke in his rigid cold voice .
yibo clenched his hands under the table at the request and felt nervous from the stares . but he has to say . that's what he came for . yibo put his chopsticks down without making a single sound and elegantly cleaned his mouth .
"King Of Lotus , i understand from the past six years the relationship between the two kingdoms has never been healthy . And I the king of Gusu request for atonement . The reason behind this all was unexpected . Someone that belongs to Lotus caught my attention and now nothing matters to me more than that , So therefore I request you to give Prince Xiao Zhan's hand in marriage to me " The King and Queen immediately looked at each other in shock . Zhan who barely could process the information the King bombarded them with , just stared blankly at the King in shock . Cheng turned his face to zhan to ask him if he was involve . Min Chong almost spilled his wine when he heard the news just then Xichen motioned for the guard to present the ring . he opened the box bowing revealing an expensive and delicate ring to the king . Mo Xing and Bozhai looked over at the ring . so Yibo came prepared . how did he even fell for zhan . they remember how they never interacted with the neighbor Kingdom in the past six years .
Xichen sensed the tension and decided to speak "Our King would like to give you some to think over the sincere proposal. we will leave the ring here for the Prince . If the Prince is not comfortable with the proposal i request to send back the ring to the Gusu Kingdom as a sign , if accepted we would like to be informed" Xichen spoke and everyone could finally function .
Yibo was looking at Zhan who who was looking at him back but then zhan got up
"Excuse me , My king , My Queen and the...k-King of Gusu " he said and went out of the grand hall to his room.
Yibo was a bit embarrassed and looked down at his food . The King adjusted his position and spoke
"The news overwhelmed us , I'm glad The King gave us some time to think over , we will soon let you know "
The Queen nodded at her husband's words . Yibo nodded and they continued the lunch awkwardly . Min Chong was beyond speechless he needs to think of something as fast as he can .. If they accepted the proposal then no one can sperate them . After the lunch, Mo Xing , Bozhai , Cheng , Yibo and Xichen leisurely walked through the garden. "the late KIng and Queen of the Gusu were very close to us "
Mo Xing spoke walking along yibo followed by the Bozhai , Cheng and Xichen. yibo nodded at the statement ., "indeed " he simply answered .
"King Yibo of Gusu ..." the Queen spoke "My Prince is unlike the other men he is an omega " she spoke finally initiating the talk about the sensitive topic . "I know Queen of the Lotus " yibo answered back .
"if the proposal is not accepted would it make any changes to the newly developed relationship between the kingdoms?" the queen asked which made them all vigilant and anticipated for the reply for the King Of Gusu .
