CHAPTER : 04

LOCATION : GUSU KINGDOM

Yibo was lost in his thoughts as he couldn't stop thinking about xichen's words . What should he do ? Should he just let the war happen ? Or should he join hands in friendship for the sake of his love ? Every time he attempted to choose , a new misery would arise in his way .
"Xiao Zhan,  the happiness of my miserable life ....look what you did to me " Yibo mumbled to himself as laid back on his bed , floating in his lover's thoughts .

The very next morning Yibo was sitting in the hall surrounded by the officials . Some of them evil and some of them neutral . But all them were after the minister's position especially Min Chong . Min Chong could be counted as the main poison whom affected the king since childhood against the neighbour Kingdom . no one ever knew his reasons for such evil acts , the ones who knew were already dead . Xichen maybe knew but he still of course wasn't sure , min Chong was a hideous man .
"My king any strategies for the war ?" Min Chong asked
Yibo clenched his fists as xichen looked at him eagerly waiting for the response .
"I have not thought of any suitable strategy " yibo nonchalantly said which shocked them all . How come king doesn't have one ? He always had best strategies , doesn't matter how much time it took . He could literally make one while sitting right here in a few minutes .
Xichen smiled softly at the answer . Min Chong who was dumbfounded dared not ask any further to avoid the insult .
Yibo just couldn't choose it was either war or love ?

Yibo surprisingly was avoiding to watch zhan. This thing was making him go crazy but he has too . How can just a mere person , whom he hasn't even talked too can affect him to the point that he is now questioning his decisions about the war ?
He needs to pull himself together and think it through .

LOCATION : LOTUS KINGDOM

The king and Queen were discussing about the strategies . After the serious discussion , the baozhai heaved a long sigh . The king noticed the melancholic aura surrounding his wife and extended his arm to caress her cheek .
"Baozhai , my love tell me what is bothering you ?" The Queen chuckled bitterly
"Everything related to this war . Yibo 6 years ago was a child knowing nothing , the war at that time didn't hurt as much as this one , he is an adult aware of the right and wrong , aware of the fact that his mother belonged to Lotus Kingdom and our bond was unbreakable.....but he still didn't change his decision " she poured out her emotions to her husband .
The king after hearing his wife's words , shook his head
"The major part is played by the evil men in his government.  Xichen is the only person I trust in the Gusu kingdom " the king shared his point of view as well
"Lu and I had so much planned for yibo and Xiao zhan. But I don't have a tiny hope left . He has changed completely,  he is not the son of my Lu . " the queen broke down into tears as king immediately captured her in his embrace and coaxed her .

Meanwhile , Zhan was pouting while sitting on the boat which was still tied to the deck .
"Everything is so boring " he tsk-ed  moved his sword in the water . "Hey zhan zhan " a loud voice Was heard as zhan looked up and smiled , jumping off the boat and running to hug the guy .
"It's been so  long nei huaisang " zhan happily uttered embracing the boy .
"Zhan zhan brother was being such a pain in ass he didn't let me wander off and made me learn sword fighting " the boy cutely pouted as zhan pinched his cheeks
"Ayy don't worry now that your here let's enjoy our time . " zhan cheered his friend who nodded at his words . Zhan leaned into his ear and whispered
"5 maidens have come from the east kingdom and they are so fine . Beautiful curves and tanned bodies " the two of them giggled and winked at each other naughtily .
Nei Huaisang belongs to the Nei Kingdom which is situated in the west . There is not much to know about him , just a childhood friend of zhan.  Lotus and Nei Kingdoms have a strong bond . Both of the Kings share a good friendship despite the age difference . They also help each other in the wars . Just like the war that is declared to happen anytime soon .

LOCATION : GUSU KINGDOM

Yibo who couldn't hold back the urge of stealing a glance of zhan walked to the balcony with his binoculars . Thoughts still unsteady and jumbled . He looked around , when he finally spotted him at the lake side . Yibo smiled as he felt butterflies in his stomach . But then suddenly his smile faded when he saw him hugging a boy . Yibo tightened his grip on the binoculars.  Thanks to the almighty that binoculars were made of Gold and were extremely strong or else the way Yibo was clenching onto them they would have been shattered into pieces by now .
"Who is he ?!" He angrily muttered
Yibo eyes almost popped out of their sockets when saw zhan pinching his cheeks
"He is mine! He can't be taken  " Yibo talked to himself like a madman. He kept looking at them until they disappeared . Yibo came inside his room in anger and threw the binoculars . Which lucky survived .
"I can't see him taken  away by someone else !" Yibo was angry he sat down holding his head
What Is happening to him ? This feeling of jealously ....This rush of anger in his blood just by watching his lover  hug and touch someone else ....He is gone ......Yibo is gone .....He knows he has fallen completely and now the only thing he wants is PRINCE XIAO ZHAN .. despite any circumstances HE WANTS HIM .

Xichen was called as he walked inside the room finding the binoculars on the floor . His heart dropped as negative thoughts surrounded him . He gulped and walked over to yibo bowing
"My king "
Yibo nodded somewhat angrily
"Is there anything I can help you with ?" Xichen asked in his solace tone
"I want prince xiao zhan " yibo straightforwardly commanded as Xichen eyes widened and looked up at the king to see if he's for real .
"My king how ?" Xichen asked hiding away the smile
"That's why I called you find me a way to get him "
Yibo tapped his Fingers on the table
"The war ?" Xichen asked curiously
"Not happening anymore " yibo said without any hesitations the only thing he wants is Xiao Zhan.  He can give this Kingdom away of its for Xiao Zhan.  This the insanity level of his love .
Xichen just couldn't believe . Love really is strong . Very strong .
