Yibo opened the letter and read it with alot of attention . He smiled at the proposal of meeting from his beloved . He didn't right back this time , he planned something better. A knock was heard on the door as yibo sighed and voiced out . "You may" Just then Xue Yang walked in with some tingling jars of wine . "I thought you needed them" Xue yang smirked mischievously as yibo chuckled and scoffed "Tsk... I drink them everyday my belovedfriend " Yibo's words made Xue Yang shook his head with a light smile He nudged yibo and handed him a jar as they both started drinking in silence . Enjoying each other's company silently. After a few sips yibo broke the silence . "Did your husband sleep ?" "Hmm.. He did after cursing me badly " Xue Yang rolled his eyes as yibo laughed at the miserable condition of his friend . "Stop laughing ! How is your progress ?" Xue Yang asked yibo as he sipped " he asked me to meet him in person he believes tongue is a traitor he'd rather want to know me better in person than on letters " Yibo narrated as he played with the jar . "A very wise Prince. You chose the best my friend " Xue Yang patted yibos back as yibo scoffed and playfully removed his hand . " so when are you planning ?" Xue Yang asked "Tomorrow " yibo smiled brightly and walked to the balcony accompanied by Xue Yang. As they randomly talked and drinked .
NEXT DAY
LOCATION : LOTUS KINGDOM
Zhan was sitting at the training yard . Cleaning his sword gently while cheng stayed on the other side fighting off some trainees . Just then a guard walked to zhan and bowed "My Prince the minister from Gusu Kingdom has demanded your presence at the lotus garden " the guard respectfully spoke as zhan was a bit curious at the sudden arrival of the minister but he decided not to overthink and decided to meet the minister . Just then cheng noticed zhan walking away with the guard and decided to catch up with them and see what's going on.
Xichen was waiting in the lotus garden at his King's demand . He was dragged away from an important meeting and asked to fetch the Prince of lotus for him because they both desired to meet eachother ... xichen in utter amaze said nothing but bowed to his King and came all the way to lotus to fetch the Prince for a meetup.
Xichen smiled brightly when he saw the Prince finally arriving . He bowed beautifully as the Prince did the same in respect . "Dear Prince of Lotus ! I hope you're healthy " Xichen politely initiated the talk . "I am doing fine minister of gusu" Zhan replied politely as well Just then cheng was seen running in their direction . Huffing and puffing due to heavy run . Cheng smiled as he saw the minister and bowed somewhat with a sluggish posture " minister of Gusu" Xichen smiled and bowed "First born Prince of Lotus" Zhan rolled his eyes at cheng for being so childish with all the running and embarrassing him Infront of his soon-to-be husband's minister .
"Minister of Gusu what brings you here ? Is everything okay ?" Zhan asked to busy the minister thoughts . "Yes my Prince everything is okay . My king has chosen me to come here and tell about his decision of meeting you " Xichen spoke ever so mesmerising making cheng heart flutter .. Zhan got a bit worked up at the words of the minister . Why would yibo ask the minister to come and tell him his reply. He could've have just wrote to him like he normally does.. "What's his decision?" Zhan asked trying to block all the negative thoughts surrounding his brain. "My king has requested me to ask you to come along with me to the Gusu Kingdom rightnow for a little meetup as you requested . " Xichen answered and zhan eyes got wider and so did chengs "N-now ?? H-how can we now?" Zhan asked worriedly as xichen only smiled at his horrified reaction "My Prince I promise to get you back home before the sun sets " Zhan looked at cheng with 'what do I do?' Face as cheng sighed and nodded "You can go zhan . I will handle king and queen " cheng said as zhan eyes got wider "But-" "Trust me" cheng smiled as zhan worriedly looked and said nothing . Finally giving in and deciding to go . "Can I get some time to dress up?" Zhan asked the minister politely as he smiled nodded "Of course my Prince you can . Just a humble request to make it fast so you can spend more time with my King " Zhan blushed and nodded as he hurried to his chamber . Meanwhile cheng and xichen looked at eachother awkwardly as cheng suggested xichen to sit at the sitting area in the garden while zhan gets ready .
LOCATION: GUSU KINGDOM
The Gusu Kingdom was decorated beautifully. Min chong was at the army training in southern part . Everything was going smoothly . Everyone was excited since the king put alot of pressure on the maidens to do the best job because someone special was coming . They all were anticipated. Maybe this someone special is the person that stole their King's heart and left them hopeless . Yibo on the other hand along with xichen and xue Yang was all dressed up looking really handsome trying to maintain his calm as the sipped tea . "You look handsome " xue Yang said as he smirked "I know " yibo said rolling his eyes knowing his friend is messing with him "What if he doesn't come ?" Xichen unexpectedly said pouting while playing with xue Yangs hand Yibos eyes widened as he got more worried and xue Yang nudged xichen "Baobei come on he'll come of course stop jinxing " Xichen nodded as he sipped his tea quietly

After much struggle and alot of hard work zhan finally got ready into an ethereal beauty. Looking delicate and beautiful When he walked out nervously trying to keep his calm The spectators aka cheng and xichen were in utter surprise at the beauty . No wonder why yibo is head over heels for him .

"Wow " cheng said as xichen finally came out of shock and smiled at zhan "You look fine my Prince " Zhan blushed at the comments and bowed in respect . " thank you should we get going ?" Zhan asked as xichen nodded and cheng smirked at how his brother can't wait . He nudged zhan a few times driving him crazy with teasing and finally letting them leave. Now he has to handle the king and queen .
Zhan and xichen walked to the carriage that was waiting there at the end of the market . Zhan got in the beautiful carriage feeling a bit too princess but that's the demand of the King so what can he do . And finally the journey began .
LOCATION : GUSU KINGDOM.
The moment the carriage reached the doors of the kingdom of gusu ... zhans heart skipped a beat . He's going to meet yibo after a long time . This time alot happened between them on letters . Hoping for everything to go well .
Yibo hands were getting cold as he waited for his lover . Xichen was more excited hoping the carriage doesn't return empty . Xue Yang just chilled as he scoffed and laughed at his worried friend who was trying to be cool .
The voice echoed as the maidens ran to the direction "The guest arrived " The loud voice echoed as yibo jumped and almost ran to the hall to meet the love of his life .
