CHAPTER : 05

LOCATION : LOTUS KINGDOM

AFTER ONE WEEK :

A knock was heard on the door of the grand hall of the lotus Kingdom , where king and Queen were sitting respectively surrounded by a bunch of soldiers and maidens who were serving them lunch .
"Yes ?" The king said in a loud voice as one of the Butler walked in and bowed
"My king "  he bowed and then bowed again "my queen " to show respect . Bozhai and Mo xing nodded their heads .
"Yes what is it " the king asked
"My king Lan Xichen the minister of the Gusu Kingdom came to see you " he conveyed
The king and Queen looked at each other , thinking what it might be this time .
"Let him in " the king said after a sometime .
The Butler rushed out and called the minister inside . Lan Xichen walked in with a huge smile planted on his lips and bowed . He was followed by his soldiers who were holding some expensive gifts that King Wang Yibo himself chose .
"My greetings My king and my queen " Lan Xichen bowed smiling
Bozhai and Mo xing were perplexed at the gifts that were presented to them . This is the very first time something like this came from the Gusu since Yibo became the king .
"Minister what brings you here and what are these gifts for ?" The Queen asked curiously
"My queen our king Wang Yibo himself arranged these expensive gifts for you and the king " Xichen said happily
His words made the queen almost faint how on earth Yibo sent them ?
"But any reason ?" She asked
"My king and Queen , our king has taken the decision of joining hands in friendship and to finish off the bad blood between the kingdoms "
Bozhai and Mo xing almost stood up in shock . The feelings were happy and confused . Did Yibo really said that ? Wasn't he after their Kingdom ?! what changed his mind ?!
The king cleared his throat
"Minister I would like you to tell us the reason for such decision " the king spoke
"My king I'm sorry I really can't , our king would personally like to come over and talk out the reason of such sudden decision " Xichen bowed apologetically .
"King Yibo ?! Will come here ?!" The Queen asked shockingly as she was overwhelmed by the sudden news
"Yes my queen you heard right Our king Wang Yibo would like to come over to your Kingdom to join hands in friendship and tell you the reason for this decision " Xichen said .

1 WEEK AGO

LOCATION : GUSU KINGDOM

Yibo was thinking about the decision he made . Will this decision of him bring him any good ? He of course knows after getting that one specific person he can be the happiest man alive in this  whole world .
But he smiled immediately when a picture of his lover came into his mind . The beautiful laugh . The extremely divining features . He was perfect . His Xiao Zhan was perfect .
Meanwhile, Xichen couldn't be anymore happy . He was proud of himself . The war will never happen but what should he Do to make Prince Zhan , yibo's.  This is challenging .
He took a two days time to think carefully. He really can't rush things he needs to think about everything intelligently and cleverly .
After burning almost half of his braincells over the matter he finally came up with a conclusion of sending a proposal for marriage right away without any delay .
The news of the sudden changes in the events was still not announced in the kingdom , everyone was still practising their moves and becoming skilled for the war . Min chong was the happiest about it . But he was still not getting over the fact that the king never really talked about the war in these past days . He talked about random matters which were totally useless in front of the war . But of course he can't debate with the king he only needs to keep on watching the ongoing movie and wait for the end .
Yibo was looking as usual at that one very close to his heart boy . Smiling like a fool at him as he practised his sword fighting .
Xichen walked in and smiled at his king . He bowed even though yibo didn't see him as was immersed in a certain someone's beauty.
Xichen after waiting for a while to be noticed by yibo which was all in vain cleared his throat as yibo turned around .
"My king I hope I didn't disturb " Xichen bowed smirking as yibo blushed and coughed deliberately to hide away his embarrassment
"Minister you did not go on " yibo said as walked inside the room leisurely walking towards his desk followed by Xichen .
"My king , a few days ago you asked to help you with something " he said as yibo sat on his chair nodding at Xichen's words indicating for him to continue
" so I thought of a way , .....I think we should send a proposal right away without delaying any further "
Yibo blushed at the words as he heart started beating faster ,
After a while he spoke
"But  our relationship is not that good I'm afraid the king and queen will reject more over I'm asking for a prince " yibo said nervously as Xichen smiled at him
"My king you don't have to worry , the second born Prince of lotus Kingdom is said to be an omega the king and queen would be more than happy to join hands in friendship and agree to your proposal , I can assure you that  " yibo after hearing Xichen's words smiled warmly
"Then minister I appoint you this duty and put ,my trust in you "
Xichen bowed and nodded
"I won't let you down " Xichen said
"Then prepare the most expensive gifts and visit the lotus Kingdom and  present the gifts and let them know about the war , also no need to them about the proposal .  tell them the king would personally like to visit " yibo said in a very unusual happy tone making Xichen smile ear to ear .

CURRENTLY :

yibo was impatiently waiting for xichen to come over and tell him about the reaction of the king and Queen . What has love made him do ? So pitifully head over heels he is for zhan.  He is totally drunk by his love.
Min Chong who heard the rumors about the war not happening anymore made his blood boiled as he wasted no time and gathered up some courage walking straight to kings chamber .
The guards at the door stopped him and requested to wait while they ask for the permission .
"My king Min Chong the head of the Army wants to see you " the guard bowed and spoke . Yibo sighed and nodded indicating his approval
Min Chong rushed in and bowed .
"My king " he said as yibo nodded
"Go on min Chong what brings you here ?" Yibo asked as he leaned back in his chair .
"My king I heard the rumors going around about the war not happening anymore , so I request you to let me know if the rumors are true ?" He asked boldly
Yibo sighed and nodded "the rumors are true I have decided to join hands in friendship and harmony with the neighbour Kingdom " yibo said as min chongs eyes widened not believing what he just heard , but he did not stop asking
"My king any reason ?" He asked
"You will know in a few days you can go " yibo said and dismissed min Chong who clenched his fists and bowed going out while gritting his teeth . What made the king change his decision  ?! This is ridiculous! 

LOCATION : LOTUS KINGDOM.

The king , Queen and the minister of Gusu Kingdom were having their lunch while randomly talking about the conflicts and sudden changes in the events . Cheng and zhan were also invited who obliviously walked in and bowed while joining the lunch . Xichen smiled at the Princes especially Prince Zhan who returned back the smile . But there was someone who was a blushing mess looking at the minister and it was no other than the Prince ZhuoCheng who has a crush over the kindhearted minister but always kept it a secret .
"Princes I'm honour to tell you that we have joined hands in friendship with the Gusu Kingdom which will be official the day King Wang Yibo visits our Kingdom ."
The king words shocked the two boys who stared in a complete shock at their parents .
