"Mommy! Daddy! My tooth!" Beth shrieked as she came running to Quinn and Puck, showing them the tooth in the palm of her hand.

"Let's see that smile." Puck said.

Beth grinned, showing off the gap in the middle of her mouth.

"Looks like the tooth fairy is gonna come tonight." Quinn added. "You have to put the tooth under your pillow when you go to bed, okay, B?"

"Okay!" Beth exclaimed. "Daddy, can I call Mercedes?"

"Yeah, of course you can." Puck nodded as he handed Beth his phone. "Here."

Beth took the phone and held it as the videochat rang.

"Hey." Mercedes answered the call. "Hi, Beth!"

"Look!" Beth yelled, holding up her tooth and showing off her smile. "My tooth fell out!"

"Your tooth fell out? Whoa." Mercedes responded. "Does that mean the tooth fairy is gonna come?"

"Uh huh." Beth nodded. "And the tooth fairy likes to give a lot of money 'cause a girl at school lost her tooth and got twenty dollars."

"Twenty?" Puck repeated, looking at Quinn.

Quinn shook her head.

"You know, Beth." Mercedes began. "My mom and dad are dentists and I think they said the tooth fairy gives five dollars for really healthy teeth."

"Really?" Beth asked. "But if my tooth fell out, doesn't that mean it's not healthy?"

"No, that's what's supposed to happen." Mercedes promised. "You're gonna start losing teeth and getting big girl teeth instead."

Beth nodded slowly, taking it all in. "And the tooth fairy will leave me money every time?"

"Yes." Mercedes answered with a laugh. "As long as it's a healthy tooth, you'll get five dollars."

"Cool." Beth smiled.

-

"Alright, B." Quinn said. "Time for bed."

"Yeah, you want the tooth fairy to come, don't you?" Puck asked.

Beth nodded. "I hope she gives me a lot of money."

"What are you gonna do with a lot of money?" Puck wondered as he picked Beth up.

"Buy Mommy a ring so you can get married." Beth decided.

"You can put whatever money the tooth fairy brings you in your piggy bank." Puck told Beth. "You're not buying your mother's engagement ring."

"Why not?" Beth asked.

"Because I'm gonna buy one for her." Puck promised.

"When?" Beth wondered.

"When I'm home again." Puck replied. "You can come with me to get it, but I'm paying for it. Deal?"

"Deal." Beth nodded as she smiled at Quinn.

"Go wait in your room." Puck said, putting Beth down. "We'll be right in."

"Okay." Beth responded as she ran off.

Puck looked at Quinn. "You still wanna marry me?"

"We're not getting engaged until you're home." Quinn told Puck.

"I'm home right now." Puck pointed out.

"That doesn't count." Quinn shook her head. "I'm not committing to a future with you until you're home and I know we'll have a future to commit to."

"Quinn." Puck sighed.

"I love you." Quinn told Puck. "But I'll love you even more when I don't have to spend every single day wondering if you're okay and alive."

"Okay." Puck nodded. "You can use the time while I'm away to pick out a nice big ring."

Quinn smiled as she kissed Puck lightly.

Puck smiled when they parted.

"Come on, let's go tuck Beth in."
