"My mom said the kids are fine and to have fun." Quinn informed Puck when she was done on the phone.

Puck nodded as he pet Max.

"We have a lot to do this weekend while we're here." Quinn added.

"Is that why they call it a New York minute?" Puck asked with a smirk.

Quinn looked at him, unamused.

"What do we have to do?" Puck wondered.

"Kurt and Blaine asked us to come over." Quinn noted.

"Both of us?" Puck questioned Quinn.

"We talked about this." Quinn said.

Puck shook his head. "I thought we were just coming to see Jake, Marley, and the baby."

"Kurt texted me that we can come when we land." Quinn added, eyeing her phone. "So let's stop by before we go to Jake's."

"Okay."

"Don't you think it's a little random that they wanted to see us?" Puck questioned Quinn as he knocked on Kurt and Blaine's apartment door. "Especially in person."

"We're their friends and it's been a while since we've gotten together, so they probably just wanted to say hi." Quinn explained. "I told them we were squeezing in a quick trip to meet our niece, and they asked us to come."

Puck furrowed his eyebrow as the door opened and Blaine stood there.

"Hey, guys." Blaine smiled as he looked at Max. "Hey, Max. Come in."

"Thanks." Quinn replied, leading Puck and Max inside.

Blaine closed the door behind Quinn and Puck, and they greeted each other with hugs and handshakes.

"Where's Kurt?" Puck wondered.

"Right here." Kurt said, entering the room and greeting Quinn and Puck. "Hello, hello."

"Hi." Quinn smiled when she and Kurt parted. "Thanks for inviting us over."

"We're glad you could make it." Kurt replied. "I see Max made an appearance, too."

"Max goes where I go." Puck reminded Kurt.

"Where are the kids?" Blaine asked.

"They're back home with my mom." Quinn said. "We didn't want to overcrowd Jake and Marley's apartment, and they're back in school anyway."

"That's right, congrats on the new niece." Kurt smiled.

"Thank you." Puck smiled back. "It's about time one of my siblings had their first kid."

"And thankfully it was Jake." Quinn added, taking Puck's hand.

"Yeah." Puck agreed.

"Why don't we go sit down inside?" Blaine suggested.

"Yeah, appetizers are out and I'll grab some drinks." Kurt decided, giving Blaine a look. "Blaine, can you give me a hand?"

"Sure." Blaine nodded. "Excuse us."

The pair walked away, and Quinn looked at Puck.

"What do you think that's about?" Quinn asked as she followed Puck to the living room.

"No idea." Puck shrugged as he and Quinn sat down. "Maybe they're fighting or something."

"Maybe." Quinn said, and she and Puck patiently waited in silence for Kurt and Blaine.
