"Hey, Jake." Puck answered the phone.
"Hey." Jake replied. "Do you have a minute?"
"Yeah, what's up?" Puck asked.
"Marley and I have been talking about the wedding." Jake explained. "And with covid and everything, we were thinking to maybe just do what you and Quinn did when you got married."
"Well, wherever and whatever you decide, if you want me there, I'm there." Puck promised.
"Thanks." Jake said. "What did you think about eloping?"
"It was good." Puck shrugged. "It took away the stress of planning, and the stress of what kind of temple or church or whatever we would get married in. Plus, Quinn was pregnant and she's never had a relaxing pregnancy."
"Yeah, teen pregnancies and pandemic pregnancies especially." Jake noted. "How's she doing?"
"She's okay." Puck answered. "It's been hard for her to go to appointments without me, but she's okay. She's ready for the baby though."
"Yeah? Are you?" Jake questioned Puck.
"I am." Puck said. "Hudson's so excited, too. He understands what's going on more now that Quinn's belly is big, and he talks to the baby."
"He's a good kid." Jake noted. "Beth, too."
"Thank you." Puck replied with pride. "Now let's get back to you. What's the plan?"
"We're thinking of getting married next weekend instead of next month." Jake said. "It would only be our moms and Sarah and you guys. And your mom, if she wants."
"I'll talk to Quinn, but I say do it." Puck advised Jake. "Get married next weekend at the courthouse with the family only and have a nice little backyard party with your friends afterwards."
"Yeah, that's probably best." Jake noted. "I'm gonna talk to Marley and let you know."
"I'll talk to Quinn." Puck responded.
"Talk to Quinn." Jake echoed. "I know she can't fly over so if she doesn't want you leaving, it's no big deal."
"Yeah, I'll let you know."
-
"Hey, babe?"
"Yeah?" Quinn asked as she looked at Puck.
"Jake's gonna get married next weekend." Puck told Quinn. "He called me about it yesterday and he was gonna talk to Marley, but it's official now."
"Are you gonna go?" Quinn wondered.
"I want to." Puck nodded. "But if you need me here or don't want me going, I'll stay. Jake understands."
"Go." Quinn ordered.
"What?" Puck asked.
"You should go." Quinn said. "He's your brother."
"You're my wife." Puck pointed out. "And you're, like, a month from the due date."
"I'll be fine on my own for a weekend." Quinn promised.
"What about covid?" Puck wondered.
"You can get tested when you come back." Quinn said. "And stay away from Hudson until you know you don't have it."
"Are you sure you don't mind if I go?" Puck questioned Quinn.
Quinn nodded. "Sam and Mercedes aren't that far away if I need something."
Puck nodded back.
"Take Beth with you." Quinn added. "And give Jake and Marley my congratulations."
"I will." Puck promised. "And I'll fly back as soon as it's over."
