"I wanna talk to you about something." Quinn began nervously.

"Okay." Puck nodded. "What is it?"

Quinn looked at Puck.

"It's not my mom being here, is it?" Puck asked. "'Cause I actually thought it's been kinda nice having her around."

"No, it's nothing like that." Quinn shook her head. "I like having your mom here, and it's good for the kids, too."

"Yeah." Puck agreed.

"I wanted to talk about something else." Quinn told Puck.

"What's up?" Puck wondered.

"Do you remember when I was concerned about how much I was crying the first few days after Grace was born?" Quinn began.

"The doctors said that's perfectly normal while your hormones balance out." Puck nodded.

"Yeah, in the beginning it's normal." Quinn stated.

Puck furrowed his eyebrows.

"I was talking to my doctor, and she recommended that I stay off of my birth control." Quinn informed Puck.

"Why?" Puck asked.

"Birth control can throw off your hormones and cause all these crazy side effects, and she said it would be good to consider." Quinn explained. "I've tried, like, four different ones since we were seventeen, and I don't know, maybe it doesn't work well with my body."

"It took you four kids to realize your body only does condoms?" Puck questioned Quinn. "And even then, only sometimes."

"Noah, I'm trying to have a serious conversation with you." Quinn sighed.

"You're right, I'm sorry." Puck apologized. "Go ahead."

"I'm tired of thinking about pills and IUDs and arm implants and whatever else." Quinn continued. "But I told her that you and I seem to be two of the most fertile people on the planet and we're done having children."

"Yeah, Grace is it." Puck agreed.

"Yeah." Quinn repeated. "I asked to have my tubes tied or removed, but they won't do it because they feel I'm too young, even though I reminded them that I already have four kids, and I told them my husband would give permission."

"I don't want you to have to go through that though, Q." Puck told Quinn.

"Both options lower the risk of cancers, but there can be complications like infections, bleeding, and damage to other organs." Quinn responded, taking a breath. "So the only other option is you."

"A vasectomy?" Puck guessed.

Quinn nodded. "And it's quicker, easier, and safer than any surgical option I have, but I don't wanna force you to do that if you don't want to."

"I'll do it." Puck decided.

"Noah, this is something you can take time to think about." Quinn said.

"I don't need to take time to think about it." Puck shook his head. "I don't want you to have to go through anything, so I'll get the surgery and I'll be as good as new."

"Are you sure?" Quinn asked.

"Better me than you. Besides, I've been through it before so I know I can handle it." Puck reminded Quinn. "And last time I was only out of commission for a few days."

"Vasectomies are almost 100% effective." Quinn added.

Puck nodded. "Let me do this for us."

"Okay."
