Quinn pocketed her phone as she walked into the den and looked at Puck. "Hey."

"Hey." Puck repeated. "How'd your phone call go?"

"Good." Quinn told Puck. "I got a really good job offer."

"Cool." Puck smiled. "What is it?"

"It's for a lead role in a romance movie." Quinn explained. "It's about a woman who's spent her twenties traveling, and she finds herself in her thirties ready to settle down, but she can't quite slow down."

"Yeah?" Puck asked. "Do they need a male lead?"

Quinn smiled. "I've been asking you to do a movie with me for years."

"Someday I'll say yes." Puck smiled back.

"Good." Quinn replied. "But in the meantime, they wanna film this in Europe for ten months."

"Ten months?" Puck repeated. "Wow, that's..."

"A lot." Quinn finished. "I told them I'd have to talk to my husband first."

"Well, what do you think?" Puck wondered. "I mean, are you interested in it?"

"Yeah." Quinn said. "But I don't wanna leave you and the kids, especially Grace. She's so little and I don't wanna miss her milestones."

"I don't want you to miss out if this is something you want." Puck told Quinn. "And if it is, I'll make everything work here."

"I do." Quinn said. "I feel like I'm ready to work, and I'm kind of excited about this."

"I think you should take the job then." Puck stated.

"What about you? And the kids?" Quinn questioned Puck.

"I can handle them." Puck promised. "Besides, I have Beth and my mom to help out."

"What about us?" Quinn asked. "We've been doing really well, and if me taking this job is gonna ruin that, then-"

"Nothing's gonna ruin that." Puck interrupted. "You and I fight for each other and this family every single day. It's gonna be fine."

"You really think I should take the job?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah." Puck said. "I'll miss you like crazy, but we'll be good and this could be really good for you."

"What about you?" Quinn asked again. "You've been wanting to do another tour for a while."

Puck nodded. "I just did a tour. Besides, I can work on some music while you're away, and you have to get that Oscar that they stole from you."

Quinn smiled slightly. "Well, we should talk to Beth and your mom about it first."

"Okay."

-

"Please don't tell me you're having another baby." Beth muttered as she joined her parents and grandmother in the living room.

"Where were you when your father had a vasectomy?" Quinn asked.

"You had a vasectomy?" Ruth asked Puck.

"Like a month after Grace was born." Puck nodded. "Quinn and I are done having kids, and it was the right thing to do."

"What if you change your minds?" Ruth wondered.

"We're not going to." Puck said.

"Humor me." Ruth requested.

"I could get it reversed again." Puck noted. "But I'm not gonna. Quinn's gone through enough, and four kids is plenty."

"Wait, what do you mean reversed again?" Beth questioned Puck.

"I had one after you were born and I had it reversed by graduation." Puck answered. "Now can we move on to your mother's news?"

"Okay." Beth nodded as she turned to Quinn. "Mom?"

"I got a job offer." Quinn stated. "For a film."

"Congrats." Beth smiled. "When do you start filming?"

"I didn't accept the offer yet." Quinn replied. "I wanted to make sure everyone was okay with me being gone for a few months first."

Beth looked at Puck.

"I'm okay with it." Puck told Beth.

"Where are you going?" Beth wondered.

"Europe." Quinn answered.

"For how long?" Beth asked.

"I would probably leave next month and come back in March." Quinn answered.

"So you're gonna be gone for ten months?" Beth questioned Quinn. "That's almost a year. You're gonna miss all our birthdays."

"It could be less than that." Quinn explained. "And I can fly home if I have any breaks, but like I told your father, if you guys aren't okay with me going, I won't."

"Can I stay with you for the whole summer?" Beth asked.

"I don't know what my schedule's gonna be like, B." Quinn pointed out. "It's not like I'll be on vacation. I'll be working."

Beth frowned.

"If you don't want me going, I won't." Quinn repeated.

"Ma, what do you think?" Puck wondered.

"That's between you three." Ruth stated. "I'll be here to help, no matter what."

"Well, I'm okay with it." Puck replied. "We'll be okay. B?"

"If you wanna take the job, I think you should." Beth stated. "Although I'm gonna miss you and I wanna visit and explore Europe with you."

"I think we can try to work something out." Quinn smiled.

"Good." Beth smiled back. "Then I think you should officially accept the offer."

"Me, too." Puck nodded.

"Me, three." Ruth added.

"Thank you, guys." Quinn grinned. "You're gonna be fine without me, I promise."

"Why don't you go tell them you're in?" Puck suggested.

"I'll wait a minute." Quinn replied. "In case you or Beth change your minds."

"We won't." Beth swore. "Go, Mom."

"Okay." Quinn nodded. "Then I'll go tell them I'm in."
