"Noah." Quinn whispered.

"Mmm." Puck mumbled.

"Noah, wake up." Quinn commanded.

Puck opened his eyes and inhaled deeply as he looked at Quinn, who was standing beside the bed.

"My water broke." Quinn told Puck.

"What?" Puck asked.

Quinn nodded. "I've been timing my contractions, but we have to go to the hospital now."

"Okay." Puck nodded back as he climbed out of bed. "Why didn't you wake me up?"

Quinn shrugged. "There was nothing you could do."

"I could've been there for you." Puck told Quinn.

"I'm okay." Quinn promised. "But it's getting pretty bad, so we should go."

"Max, go wake Beth up." Puck commanded.

The dog ran off, and Puck gathered the hospital bags. He rubbed Quinn's back as she put her hands on the bed and leaned forward, taking deep breaths.

"Good, babe." Puck encouraged her. When the contraction ended, he looked at Quinn. "Do you think I have time to shower before we go?"

"Seriously?"

-

"Who's watching the kids?" Quinn asked as Puck helped her into a gown and onto the hospital bed. "And Max?"

"Don't worry about them. They're fine." Puck answered as he looked at Beth. "Are you sure you wanna be in here for this?"

"I wanna be here to make sure nothing happens." Beth replied.

"Okay." Puck said. "Why don't you go sit down?"

Quinn nodded in agreement as she put her hand out.

Beth sat down in the chair beside the bed, and Puck stood at Quinn's side and took her hand. "How ya feelin'?"

"Okay." Quinn said with a shrug. "How are you feeling?"

"Me?" Puck asked. "I'm fine."

Quinn nodded slowly. "I'm just glad I won't have to be in the hospital on Christmas."

"Yeah, unless she takes notes from Lulu." Puck pointed out.

"Don't say that." Beth said, shaking her head.

"It's gonna be okay, B." Puck replied. "If you can't handle this, then you need to go wait in the waiting room. Your mom doesn't need any extra stress in here."

"Leave her, Noah." Quinn added. "This one's gonna be a piece of cake."

"Don't jinx yourself." Puck warned Quinn as he gently squeezed her hand. "But I hope so."

"Me, too." Quinn agreed. "Wait a second, shouldn't the kids be in school?"

"It's Saturday." Puck reminded Quinn. "They're gonna take the driver here later when this one decides to show up."

"She's not... ooooh." Quinn hissed in pain. "She's not gonna take as long as Lucy."

"No?" Puck raised his eyebrow.

Quinn shook her head. "I can tell."

"Well, that's good, right?" Puck asked.

"Yeah." Quinn said as she looked at Puck.

"Did you guys pick a name yet?" Beth wondered.

"I picked a few, but I won't know for sure until I see her." Quinn responded. "Do you have any in mind, babe?"
