Once to their destination Renji and Ichigo got off the black motorbike after it was parked, they pranced up to the door and stood for a moment, silently arguing over who should knock; but the silence annoyed the strawberry, so he knocked once. No answer. This encouraged him to knock again, and when he did the thirteen year old smiled, seeing his best friend since the age of eight, and her older brother standing in the open doorway.

Renji looked up to the twenty-two year old he had seen last night, flashed a small smile, then looked down to who he was there for, "afternoon Rukia, mind if we hang for a little bit?" The youngest Kuchiki looked up to her brother, wide eyes pleading for him to allow her friends in, to which he nodded and turned away from the door so he could return to his spot on the couch.

"Yay! Renji, Ichigo, c'mon, we're just watching TV and talking." She held her hands out to her best friends, who each took her small delicate hands, they all smiled and walked inside; the two guests slipping their shoes off before getting anywhere near the living room.  "I didn't know that today was a Byakuya day," the young Kurosaki looked over to the substitute teacher, smiling, "how's it going?" He sat down sort of close to the much older male, wanting to catch up with who he sort of viewed as an older brother.

The substitute shrugged before tucking some hair behind his ear, looking down to the ground as Renji passed him, sitting down with his legs folded under him, "it's been alright, since mid terms are coming up works been sort of busy, how about you Ichigo? How's school and your little sisters?"

Renji had sort of checked out of the conversation, and that's saying something since he wasn't in it in the first place; the voices of his friends we're almost like a low hum as he stared off in front of him, blinking every now and then to stop his vision from blurring due to not being focused on anything.

That was until he had a throw pillow tossed at him, looking over to the culprit he saw a giggling thirteen year old, who quickly changed to a smirk, leaning forward. "What's got you so distracted?" The ginger shrugged a little and held the pillow in his lap, looking in front of him towards a flat screen TV, then leaned his head against the back of the couch, "I dunno, jus' been feelin' kinda funky lately."

Rukia frowned a little bit and leaned on her older friend, pulling her legs onto the couch behind her, looking over to her brother and other best friend, smiling at the two. "I like it when everyone's together again, just like when we were younger," she glanced up to the male she was clinging to, "right Renji?" He was going to answer, but a certain strawberry butted in first, "almost, he's not sitting at Byakuya's feet like a dog," he bursted out laughing, and so did Rukia.

Byakuya only let out a soft chuckle while the one being made fun of glared at the rest, "you guys are dicks ya know that? 'Specially you Ichishit!" He got up from his spot and strutted over towards the laughing thirteen year old, then gently yanked on his unaltered ear, causing the adolescent to whine a little whilst trying to pull away, "Renren! Stop that it hurts!" He tried to plead with the highschool junior, who only shook his head and leaned in closer, "no way, you take that back now."

"Come on Ichigo, Renji isn't a dog," Rukia started, to which Renji stood up and pointed to her, "see what I mean?" "He's a monkey!" Her laughter continued, but it was so great this time she needed to hold her stomach due to slight pain from lack of air being sucked in. Ichigo followed suit basically; tears of laughter welling in his eyes.

Needless to say the very angsty teenager was absolutely embarrassed, yanking on the orange haired teen's ear a little harder before Byakuya decided to put an end to it, by placing a hand on the red head's back, "come now Renji, they're just trying to have fun." He looked at the angered teen softly, trying to get him to calm down, "I know that Yaka," the two seemed to pause for a moment, "I mean Byakuya, sorry,"

Abarai took in a deep breath and let go of Ichigo's ear, then slid down beside him on the couch and placed an arm over his shoulder, resting their heads together whilst the thirteen year olds calmed themselves down.
