chatter and laughter could be heard echoing through the brightly lit segments of the room. the arcade they went to was separated into different sections , according to the theme and the game.
when they first enter, jisung and minho was greeted with the classic 80s arcade music. children could be seen crowding around the game controls, fiddling with the buttons mindlessly.
as they ventured further into the spacious arcade, sound effects from the gory games could be heard from different stimulators. the sound of zombie squelching, or the horrifying screeches were all too real to jisung. he clung onto minho like a life line, desperately trying to slow down his rapid heartbeat.
minho himself was definitely not a big fan of horror themes, but he chose to focus on the cowering boy in front of him that needed to be comforted instead. he threw his arms over jisung's quivering frame protectively, ignoring the visible trickle of sweat that was showing on his forehead.
he held the timid boy close to his chest, finally making it out of the terrifying battle ground. " hyung will always try to make you happy okay hannie? "
jisung's nervous whimpering was soon replaced with giggles as he heard the new nickname.
" thank you hyungie! "

the two of them set off to explore the arcade further, since nothing really caught their eye. jisung wore the biggest smile on his face. his smile was like a sudden beam of sunlight illuminating the darkest corner of the room when he spotted his favourite game.
" hyungie, can we try that please please please! "
the boy whined as he pointed towards the game set, eagerly dragging a whipped minho to his desired destination.
