"Good Afternoon Ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking; I would like to welcome you to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. This is flight number 0782 heading to Manila, Philippines we will be in the air for a total time of 3 hours and 45 minutes. Please be sure you are seated and your seatbelt is fastened.... Get ready for takeoff"

Straight from Singapore. Walking in the aisle while greeting some passengers left inside the plane, some are thanking me for the safe landing and it was my pleasure. But behind my enthusiastic participation during this flight is a very rough time I carried with me.

Hindi madali ang layover namin sa Singapore, it was quite stressing. Our first officer who I flew heading to Singapore just stress out the hell of me. Humahanap siya ng lusot para siraan ako sa Airline company namin and of course our company responded to that idiotic reasons and threatened me about my contract.

"Mr. Fierro. I am not happy of what I heard from you. You never treated your co-officers right and do your things on your own without the consent of your co-officers'' That's when I received a morning call from our company.

Wala na akong magawa, hindi ko naman alam kung saang' parte ako nagkamali doon. I just did my job right and it's their choice already whether they'll participate or not.

"Cap! Saan ka mamayang gabi?" Tanong ni Jericho at sabay kaming lumabas ng airport kasama ang ibang nakatrabaho namin sa flight.

"Condo. I need some rest" I answered briefly and check my phone if she message me. Tahimik siya noong mga nakaraang araw hindi masyadong nagte-text saakin but I'm sure she's also busy.

"Mukha nga cap. Sino ba naman hindi ma'stress doon sa mga nangyayari sainyo ni first officer natin" Pabulong na sabi ni Jericho and I iust smirked.

We finally bid our goodbyes to each other and I headed straight to my unit and instantly buried my whole being in my comfy warm bed.

Nakatunganga ako sa kisame at may tuwalya pang nakasukhit sa balikat ko at kakatapos ko lang maligo. Napaisip ako sa kung ano anong bagay, maybe I'm just tired and I feel so drain for everything. Tomorrow's heart day at hindi ko pa alam ang gagawin ko to surprise her since I owe her a promise tomorrow.

I sighed before closing my eyes.

Kinabukasan I decided to go on jog and walk straight to gym. Hindi pa ako nag message kay Hera and to inform her nakauwi na ako kagabi nakatulog na ako at magkikita naman kami ngayon.

"Kyj!" Agad akong napalingon sa tumawag saakin while I'm drying my sweat using my face towel.

"Ivy!" It was her. Mukhang kakatapos niya lang sa ginagawa niya at may nakasukbit na face towel sa balikat niya at bitbit ang isang water jug.

"No flight?" She asked.

"Wala. Kahapon pa din' ako nakauwi" I smiled at her at inabot ang tubig ko sa duffle bag ko.

"I see" She paused. "Uhm any plan for today?"

Nilingon ko siya and she raised up her brows waiting for my answer "I have date tonight"
