Hera

''Hera?''

A familiar voice called me in a gentle way, I was half awake when I heard that before I could even open my eyes she called me several times.

''Hera, okay ka lang ba?'' I opened my eyes widely and saw Aya's face in the front of my view. Hindi ko maalala ang nangyari kung bakit nakahiga ako ngayon sa kama ko na may ice bag sa ulo ko na hawak hawak ni Aya.

''Anong nangyari?'' I curiously asked as I help myself to get up.

Agad namang tinangal ni Aya ang Ice bag sa ulo ko at inalalayan akong makaupo ''Jusko ka! Alam mo bang nagising ako sa malakas na kalabog mo! Ano bang nararamdaman mo kanina!'' Lintya niya at may pag-alala sa boses niya.

''I don't know, ang alam ko I fell...'' I tried to remember the whole scene at bigla nalang ako nakaramdam ng sakit sa ulo ko kaya agad ko itong minasahe ''How long I've been unconscious?'' I met her sympathetic eye.

''Half an hour. Okay ka na ba? Anong nararamdaman mo?'' She said sympathetically.

''Don't worry. Hang-over lang...'' I gave her an assuring smile and reached for her hand and squeezed it ''Thank you for staying and I think you can leave me already I caused you so much trouble''

''Huwag mo ng isipin yun basta okay ka lang. Tsaka mukhang uuwi na muna ako may pupuntahan pa ako e'' She announced.

''Then you should go now. I'm okay..''

Aya left a warm hug and after that dumiretso ako sa kusina to find something to eat. Nagutom na naman ako pero wala akong maluto ngayon but thankfully I have some wheat bread left and mustard. I felt a bit disappointed when there's no strawberry jam but still mustard satisfied my cravings.

Naghintay akong makauwi si Kyjie at habang naghihintay ako ay nasa unit lang ako buong araw na kahit alam kong bukas pa ang uwi niya. Wala ako sa mood mag gala at mas gusto kong nasa unit lang nakahiga at mas gusto kong kumain ng kumain.

Today is the day that Kyjie will come home so I waited for him in his unit. Nag-impake ako kanina para dito matulog kasi bukas din babalik na ako sa trabaho. I was so excited while waiting for him and I planned to ask him about the plan for our upcoming valentines date since heart day is approaching in just one week. Thinking about sparing a time together feels like it's our first date together. It's been a while since we go out and date, hectic schedule stopped us all the time.
