College

Today is the orientation, and I'm surprisingly nervous. Not about the school, or work, just about the people. I want to fit in and make friends, not be the person everyone hates. That's why I'm going to try NOT to be as stubborn and sarcastic so I can make at least 5 good friends. It's only college of it's too horrible, I can just deal with it. I'm a anxious person as you can see.

My mom drives me to campus and on the way there she tells me all of the stories from when I was a kid and how much she will miss me. She shouldn't act like this I'm only a state away. Oh I forgot to say, the college I'm going to is in Minnesota, which isn't too far from home. I want my mother happy that I'm growing up, not a sad wreck. It breaks my heart seeing her sad. My dad is proud of my achievements and he is counting on me I'll make more. My brother just said bye -.- that brat. But I sure will miss him.

We arrive at campus and I forgot how big it is! I am so happy I'm here right now! Getting away from home sure does help. I walk into the building and to see there are a bunch of chairs out in the room. I heck in and sit in the seat with my name on it and my mother stands by my side. I look up to her and she forces a smile. I know she doesn't want me to go, but I'm a grown up now. I try to shake it off when more people pile in. Wow there are a lot of people. I hope I can fit in.

A girl sits next to me, she has brown hair and has the fashion sense like me, cute and classy, but comfortable. I stare into a crowd when I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder "Hi, my name is Jessica, what's your name? :)" hmm she seems nice so far. "Hey, my name is Jennifer, you can call my Jen. It's nice to meet you." I say in a cheery voice. "So I was wondering since I don't know ANYONE here, would you be my room mate?" She asks." Uh...sure. Wait we can pick?" I ask kinda shocked. "Yeah they decided to let us pick more then forcing us with people." Thank god! "Okay good then yes I will be your roommate!" I think I made a friend... She's seems like me too so that's good! "YAY ROOMIES!!" She says loudly and hugs me. Okay kinda like me then. I laugh in response and look I tot he crowd again.

The principle of the college walks up to the podium where the microphone is and taps it. "Hello everyone! I'm very excited to see everyone so excited for this school year! I really hope you like it here. May all the girls go to the right side of the room and all the boys go to the left side of the room, please?" As she said that everyone got up and moved to their side of the room. "Thank you, now there are two group managers, Tracy is going to show the girls their dorms and Nate will show the boys theirs." Once that happened a woman came over towards the girls, I'm assuming is Tracy. "Hi everyone, my name is Tracy and I'm going to show you your dorms and get your keys to them! Everyone follow me!!"

We follow her to the girls dorms section. "Okay pair up with your roommate so we can escort you to your dorm." I was already best to Jessica so we did the girly thing and cheered slightly cause we're so freaking excited! After everyone was down pairing up people starting going to their dorms. "Jessica and Jennifer!?" "Yes" we both said at the same time. "Your form is 105 on the second floor. Enjoy!" We grab our keys and head up to the second floor. We get to our room and unlock the door. There is more room than I expect there to be. There are two beds on the opposite side of the room, night stands next to them. Two desks, two closets, a bathroom, and two windows. It's a pretty wide room to be honest which I'm happy for! I claim the bed on the left side of the room and Jessica claims the right. We set up our beds and our desks and put everything we needed in the bathroom. We talked about everything and anything, which I'm glad we're so alike...in ways xD.

"I heard there is a greeting party on the first floor, wanna go?" She says
" Uh Duh!" I want it meet sown more people and make a few more friends.
" Okay then let's get ready shall we?"
"Yes!" I say excitedly.

I put on a crop top that says forever and always, and black high waisted jeans. I put my hair into a high pony tail and put some make up on. Jessica and I finish and head to the party.

There are ALOT of people here...no surprise. I go to the bathroom real quick just to make sure I look okay and don't look dorky. I step outside and walk through. Me being the clumsy person I am I trip and before I fall on the ground I feel arms around me. The stranger lifts up. "Oh my gosh are you okay?! I'm so sorry!" A familiar voice says I look up and see someone shocking to me. It's Connor Franta! "Oh no it's fine I'm really clumsy. Are you Connor Franta?" "The one and only ;)" oh my gosh how smart xD not. "Oh cool! My name is Jennifer." He just stares at me for a minute and he realizes it. He looks away blushing madly. I giggle at his actions, wow this boy is cute. "So uh Jen, I want to know you more better, say you give my your number?" Hmm" Uh yeah sure" he pulls out his phone and gives me it. I put my number in it and set the name as Jenny<3. I give him my phone and he puts his number in and names it Con<3. Aww we did the same thing xD I'm weird. "So wanna hang out? Your friend can hang with us too."
"Yeah! Let me get her"

I feel very happy he wants to hang out. I wanna know this boy and I dorm know why.....
