The sun shines through the blinds, right into my eyes. I forgot to close the blinds the evening before, so now I got tortured with the early sunrise.

Waking up, I couldn't feel my arms. Looking down, I saw them strongly wrapped around Donghyuck, who seemed to still sleep peacefully. My whole body went stiff. If I tried to pry them from underneath him, he would surely wake up, so I remained quiet, as if asleep. I took my time to look at how the sun reflected on his hair and skin.

His hair, with his natural hair colour showing slightly at the roots, laid softly on the pillow. I could now see the different moles scattered across his arms. It seemed like he kicked the blanket off in his sleep, because his thighs were exposed, showing 3- No 4 moles. Donghyuck stirred, making me able to pull one arm free. Finally, free! I looked at the digital clock i had on my desk; 4:60 AM. Still early. I decided to try and go back to sleep. it was not like I had any other options, since I still  had one arm stuck underneath him.

Before I knew it, I fell back asleep. Only to wake up with my right arm sneaking its way underneath him again, and my left securely holding his hips. Sensing him starting to wake up, my breath hitched. With his face buried in my neck, I could feel his eyelashes move.

Blink.

Blink.

Blink.

My hand still on his hips, nose buried in Donghyuck's hair. Thinking of ways to get out of this mess, I decided that my best option was to pretend I was still asleep.

"Wh- oh." His voice still low and groggy from just waking up. It was different from his usual tone, which was a little lighter and more smooth. Him talking tickled my neck, sent shivers down my spine and created goosebumps.

"Donghyuck, be quiet. Please don't wake up please don't wake up," Donghyuck whispered to himself.

He slowly got out of bed, but not before noticing me shivering and the goosebumps on my skin. He grabbed the blanket, at the footboard of the bed, and tucked me in, careful not to wake me up.

Only when I heard the door close I dared to open my eyes. There still was an indent of a body right next to me, and I allowed myself to bask in the leftover warmth. After a while, all traces of Donghyuck disappeared. That's when I decided to get up. The clock stated I still had at least half an hour left before I had to wake up, so I took my time.

I dressed myself, brushed my teeth, and rehearsed on the guitar one more time, before I set of too MU for my evaluation.

"Let's hear it then!"

The classroom was filled with other nervous students, waiting for their turn.

I took in a few breaths, before gripping the guitar in both hands. At the beginning of this term, Ms Adelaine and I decided on what I were to play that day. As I was already a bit familiar with the guitar, she decided I'd play a piece from the Intermediate folder. Admittedly, it wasn't all that hard to play.

Then... why did I mess up? It's a question that's still impossible for me to answer. Where there too many people watching? Did I not practice enough? Was I too nervous? I have no clue.

After I played the wrong chord, I just froze. I looked at Donghyuck sitting next to Ms Adelaine, who frowned. A few days before, he had complained his ears were going to fall off from hearing me play too much. He knew I could play it without playing a wrong chord.

"Mark, I don't want to ruin your spirits, but come on, there is no point in practicing any longer than this. You've been playing that tune for the past three hours. I'm trying to do my assignments."
