Stop It Shinnosuke!

Chapter 6

"What is he thinking right now? Is he looking at me? Is he looking at the ceiling? Ugh, I can't look at him. Was everything I said just stupid?"

Kazama was overthinking his energy out. He sat there motionless, his hand on top of Shinnosuke's hand. Shinnosuke was speaking something but he couldn't really pay attention to it. He just had one question is his mind.

"Will he forgive me?"

After he felt Shinnosuke finish what he was saying, Kazama gathered up the courage to ask the question that had been bothering him.

"We are still friends, right?" He whispered, closing his eyes in the fear of uncertainty. He had no idea what Shinnosuke's answer might be. If the circumstances were different, Kazama could've been a hundred and one percent sure that Shinnosuke would say, "Of course we are friends, Toru-kun~".

But having seen Shinnosuke act the way he did, he wasn't sure if Shinnosuke would even answer his question.

"Of course, we are." Kazama heard Shinnosuke whisper back, and his racing heart calmed down. He felt overjoyed.
After all the fights, Shinnosuke was still the same old Shinnosuke after all.

He smiled, all the while keeping his head down. He felt Shinnosuke breath on his shoulder, it was very warm. He turned to see Shinnosuke breathing a but heavily.

"Is your fever back?" Kazama asked as he touched Shinnosuke's forehead. It felt very warm.

"Yeah, I guess." Shinnosuke said as Kazama helped him lay down. He let go of Shinnosuke's hand and stood up to find some medicine. Shinnosuke grabbed Kazama's wrist, startling him.

"I took the meds already." Shinnosuke said, "Sit here." He pulled Kazama back towards the bed, where he sat with thump.

"What are you doing, Shinnosuke?" Kazama replied flustered. He tried to free his wrist from Shinnosuke's grip.

"Is my Toru-chan embarrassed~~?" Shinnosuke said in a dramatic girly tone.
Kazama felt more embarrassed, in a nostalgic way. It had been a long time since he felt this flustered around someone.

"Come on, Toru-chan~ Why are you being so embarrassed? Could it be that... you have been seeing someone else behind my back?" Shinnosuke asked, continuing his acting.

"Shut up, Idiot." Kazama said as he smiled a bit.

"Oh? Is that a smile I see?" Shinnosuke grinned.

"No. And you need to come down stairs. Dinner's probably ready. " Kazama said as he stood up once again. Shinnosuke kept his grip strong and started pulling Kazama towards him once again.

"Let go!" Kazama said loudly.

"No!" Shinnosuke laughed as he kept pulling his arm. But he quickly got tired due to his fever, ultimately making Kazama free.

"Come downstairs." Kazama said as he paced out of the room in order to avoid getting caught by Shinnosuke.

"I'm coming after you." Shinnosuke got up and hurried after him.

Masao had been sitting in the living room with Himawari. Himawari told Masao about all the bizarre stuff that happened to her that week, but Masao couldn't concentrate on what she was saying at all. Especially after he got to know about the fight between Kazama and Shinnosuke by Bo. He was worried about them.

"Will they make up?" He muttered under his breath.

"What did you say?" Himawari asked.

"N-Nothing." Masao fumbled.
